Creatine is pretty good stuff but don't go through the "Loading Phase" your body just flushes the extra anyway. I personally will not use any fat burners because of the stimulant effects. They are hard on your hart.
With the protein try 1.5 grams per body pound per day.

Serious Weight loss, The usual suggestions arent working
Ok Just a couple things to start. I'm NOT Anorexic, and I'm NOT Bulemic! I have no interest in being underweight and I'm trying to gain weight. That Having been said... I have been underweight all my life, I'm 32 and 6ft tall and 125 pounds. I have tried eating more, eating as unhealthy as possible, (Bring on the High Cholestoerol! - If only that were my problem) I"ve tried shakes, digestive aids, protein suplements, vitamins, laziness, eating before bed... Nothing, the only weight I gain is the weight of the meal I just ate. And most of it comes out later. When I was younger i felt that I was ok and just needed to grow out of it, but when? ONe problem is that I sometimes feel that I cannot eat or I will throw up, ( I dont! I havent thrown up for years and that time I had the flu) especially when I try to eat sweets or suggary snacks. The things I do seem to be able to eat are vegetables, fruits, Ice tea, and other things that are supposed to be healthy, Especially this is true in the morning, and it makes it extremely difficult to eat breakfast, but this tells me that something is wrong, I'm usually not even very hungry and have to force myself to eat. I do often feel tired and lethargic, and sometimes get these little electric surges that i've kind of learned to atrribute to starvation. I go through times when I can only eat just a little bit at a time, and If I try to eat alot for lunch, I can barely eat any dinner, its almoast as if my body does not know how to eat or process food properly. Alot of people say they wish they were me but trust me you shouldnt, this is not healthy and I'm affraid if I let it go to long its going to kill me, but my doctor does not have a solution other than eat more (I'm trying! it aint workin!) Eating those types of foods are not good for you. Your body will work to eliminate it quicker.For some reason your body knows that telling you it's hungry does little. It's kinda given up on you. You need to start making yourself eat. Starting with breakfast. Doesn't have to be big. Eat 2 eggs and a piece of toast with a nice glass of water. at 10 have a nice snack. Some nuts (high in calories but great for nutrition) a few ritz crackers, some fruit. Have a soda to wash it down. For lunch eat some kind of yummy pasta with sauce and some veggies. Make sure throw in the afternoon snack as well. Some more nuts, cashews are great for this problem and some more fruit. Again, wash it down with another soda. Dinner, Make yourself a decent meal. Mean, potato, veggies and fruit. Then throw in a snack half way between dinner and bed time. Eat some buttery popcorn. right before bed drink a small protein shake.
You don't have to be hungry to eat. Almost every person out there eats at times other than when they think they feel hungry. You can eat as small of portions as you'd like. I don't care if you feel like you will throw up. Eat it anyway. You sy you want to gain weight but then you say you won't eat because you feel you might throw up. You can fight the feeling of being sick. fight it hard. Eat. your body will become adjusted to eating and will, after a few weeks, want to start eating. You have to train yourself to eat. Just like many have to train themself to not over eat. Same concept. My suggestion about the soda should be for caffeine free soda's only. You don't need a caffeine problem.

There are many obese people that are starving to death. Starvation doesn't mean skinny. Your body needs the right foods with nutrients and vitamins in them to maintain your body. I used to smoke and would talk about wanting to quit. But i didn't REALLY want to quit. The day i decided i really wanted too, i changed and did so. 125 pound 30 year old... not too sexy. Those who would claim to be jealous aren't. Not if they would see you. Not if they knew they had to starve themselves. People are jealous that when they ae so active that they can eat and keep the weight off. that's what people really want and are jealous of.

I am determined to lose weight without any pills. Ive decreased my calorie intake to about 1200 calories a day, increased my fruits, vegetable and protein intake dramatically. Pretty much eliminated all complex carbs and fats. Ive completley elimintaed junk food/soda/fried food/sweets/etc. I drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and take liquid acai suplements a few times a day. I exercise 5 days a week for 2 hours and do about 75-100 crunches a day before I go to bed. I get 8 hours of sleep every night. Ive been doing this strictly for a few months and have not lost A SINGLE POUND. I am so fustrated I don't know what to do. I am not obese, just a few pounds overweight. Any help? thanx <3-

You need more calories. Go up to 2,800 for two weeks, then go to 2,500 a day for 2 weeks , drop 100 calories for 2 more weeks. keep cutting every few weeks but never go below 1,500 calories.

You are going to have to make yourself more of a priority. You might think about balancing all of your school work with your physical health. Just a thought. No magic pills here but if you really do want to feel and look better then take that energy and make a plan.Have you ever tried a yoga class? Perhaps a Bikram yoga class would be a good choice for you. It is a beginners class but it would get rid of toxins and relax you. It also helps with cravings of bad foods.
I think it is important you find some sort of exercise that you enjoy. So, if not yoga, walking, dancing around the house..anything helps.
Also is there any good foods that you like at all? As an example if you just love french fries, try just microwaving a potatoe with some veggies instead. You are still getting the starches just not all of the fat. I would try and remember that fast food adds a ton of unknown calories and those companies are not looking out for you at all. They prefer you stay unfit so they can keep getting your money.
I would really do my best to stay away from fast foods and especially any soft drinks, including diet colas. it isn't just the way you look but the way you feel and this all starts with the foods you are eating.

I really want to be thinner and I think i'd gain alot more confidence if i was thinner also. I want to avoid taking dieting pills or any weight loss suplements. Hi,I graduated high school at 240 pounds and at 5 foot 3 that made me about as round as I was tall. You said you don't like healthy food, but you can find ways to trick your body. I would first of all cut out the fast food. It's hard, I know, but it is worth it in the long run. It's draining your wallet and adding inches to your waist--not good! So, instead of fast food, try making yourself some cold-cut sandwiches with turkey breast (which is low in fat) with whole-grain bread and sneak some veggies in, like lettuce, bean sprouts, or tomato.If you can't tolerate the veggies in your sandwich, try this little trick: put tomato, green pepper, onion, and carrots into a blender. Puree it and use this as a juice to cook your chicken in on the stove in a dutch oven. Or, you can marinate chicken breast in a ziploc baggie overnight.
As far as salads, if you truly don't like them, don't eat them. Find another way to get your fruits and vegetables. A great way to get fruit into your diet is to cut up some apples and put a little peanut butter on a plate. This is a great snack because it's high in fiber and in protein, and the sugar from the apple is natural.
I would recommend drinking lots and lots and lots of water. The key to weight loss is to hydrate. That being said, always make sure to balance the water you drink with the foods you eat: don't over-hydrate.
Workout-wise, try starting off walking 1/4 mile one day, then 1/2 mile the next, then eventually build up to a point where you can brisk-walk 2 miles a day. Once you can do that, try running intervals: run a bit, like from one telephone pole to the next, then walk. Then run again, then stop. Doesn't matter if you are eating perfectly healthy foods, you must eat enough of them for your diet to be considered healthy.Fast weight loss pretty much means fast weight re-gain. Anything over 3 lbs/wk is too fast to be healthy. The faster you lose, the more difficult to keep it off long term. You can't keep starving your body (with too few calories) forever, so when you start to eat more properly, weight gain will tend to occur.
Eating not enough calories slows your metabolism which means your body is burning fewer calories throughout the day. When it runs out of calories to burn from the food you feed it (or beverage) it's more likely to turn to muscle tissue for energy instead of fat, because muscle tissue requires more energy to maintain...thus it will get rid of the high maintenance tissue first and save the fat for later. You end up with loose skin and a flabby/soft body. Not pretty.
Do it once, and do it right...eat right and exercise and focus on hitting your healthy goal in a reasonable amount of time. You didn't get fat overnight, don't plan on losing it overnight.

i know that if i just go running for an hour each day ill lose weight, but this will be muscle too, which will inturn slow down fat loss overall and mess up my metabolism. so this is my workout plan for both.mon : warm up 10min - weights 45min.
tue : warm up 10in - steady high cardio 30min (rowing machine)
wed : push ups, abs 15 min - 15 cardio warm up - 15min high intencity interval training.repeat thur - sat and rest sunday.
ive done this so i dont overtrain but do real work in the time im there. want to lose ideally about 10lbs.
