Learn The Fast Way To Lose Weight

Weight Loss Program

Most of us have heard of Atkin's diet which calls for almost a complete carbohydrate cut from our diet for the first 2 weeks (induction phase)and then to add carbohydrate to our meals progressively thereafter. Whilst there are many success stories for this weight loss diet, there are also many criticisms claiming that Atkin's diet weight loss program is very unhealthy.

Well, to me, most weight loss diets are unhealthy. Anyway, I find Doctor Barry Sear's zone diet as one of the better or healthier weight loss diet. Please do note that I am not advocating dieting alone as a weight loss plan and strategy. I believe to lose weight and to keep the extra weight off permanently, we must combine healthy eating habits with regular exercise.

So what is the Zone Diet weight loss program?

The Zone Diet plan advocates protein-carb-fat balance in our meals. Very much like eating balanced meals.

Protein In Zone Diet

Our body needs a constant supply of protein as proteins are our body's building blocks. This is the reason why zone diet meals start with low-fat protein. Proteins stimulate glucagon production, a hormone that helps our body to release stored carbohydrates (glycogen) from our liver to maintain blood sugar levels for the brain. However, we should not consume protein in an amount bigger than the size and thickness of the palm of your hand, said Dr Barry Sears.

The protein serving should occupy one third of our dining plate because our body cannot use more protein than that (for ordinary folks who are not into building muscles).

Do choose the leanest protein as there are likely fats in your meal and saturated fat in any weight loss diet program should be kept low.

Carbohydrates In Zone Diet

The protein portion of a zone diet meal must be balanced and on par with the carbohydrates. Do note that not all carbs are equal. Fruits and vegetables are good carbs with a low capacity to stimulate insulin production, while other vegetables (such as carrots and potatos etc) and grain-based or refined flour products (white bread, pasta, white rice, cakes etc.) are bad carbohydrates as they are high glycemic carbs. Since the Zone diet's goal is insulin control, we must make sure that most of the carbohydrates are of the low glycemic types.

So one third of our meal should come from protein source and two thirds from good carbohydrate source like green leafy vegetables.

Fats In Zone Diet

A Zone diet meal requires fat. Good fats come in two forms: monounsaturated fats and long-chain omega-3 fats. Monounsaturated fats come from olive oil, some type of nuts aznd avocados etc. Long-chain omega-3 fats can come from fish oil.

Limit bad fats like saturated fat and trans fat. Saturated fat comes from animal meat and high-fat dairy products. Trans fats are artificial fats created by the food industry, commonly listed as partially hydrogenated oil.

Then there is a type of omega-6 fatty acid known as arachidonic acid, found mainly in fatty red meats, egg yolks and organ meats. We do need some arachidonic acid in our diet, but too of this acid much can be damaging to our health just like any other fat.

Conclusion Of The Zone Diet Weight Loss Program

Sounds like common sense balanced meals isn't it? Would you include The Zone Diet plan into your weight loss program? What do you think about The Zone Diet?

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
What is the best program for weight loss?
I'm trying to find a weight loss program to suit me. I did weight watchers for a long time and I'm just finding it difficult to continue that program. I do want a program though because I feel like I need the structure of it. Any ideas about programs that work for the long run?

    • ANSWER:
Eat in the right times and go get exercises...

  2. QUESTION:
Why is it that when I start an exercise and weight loss program I put weight on?
Even though my body is shaping up, my weight stays the same and the reason for the weight loss is to bring my blood pressure down and get off the pills. That is even after 6 weeks of being on the program.

    • ANSWER:
I agree with the others. Many people find that after they start exercising they get on the scales and they have put on weight.

You need to ignore the scales, throw them out. Begin to measure your body fat, or simply look in the mirror and ask yourself if your body is looking better. If your working out and eating healthy I am sure it will be.

  3. QUESTION:
Is this an effective weight loss program for cold weather?
It is cold out. Very cold. I can't run outside without my lungs bursting from the freezing temperature, thusly I have come up with this work out program to do everyday:

Jumping Jacks for 10 minutes straight
    90 push ups
    30 sits up
    Jump Rope for 5 minutes

Will this be effective for weight loss until it warms up?

    • ANSWER:
As far as the losing weight is concerned during the winter it is one of the toughest things to do because in a normal season it usually takes around 30 minutes of workout to warmup your body after which you tart burning fat but in winter the warm up exercise should be of around 50 minutes so that after which your fat starts burning and you can loose off some weight.

  4. QUESTION:
How to get the best weight loss Program?
I tried a lot of diets but very little of them used to help. Please give an advice of some good solution/method on the internet to get the best weight loss program.
    Thank you.

    • ANSWER:
Exercise. Exercise can boost your results ten-fold, especially if it includes weight training. Not only will weight training help you build lean muscle, which helps burn fat, but it can also help strengthen bones. Be sure to consult a health-care professional before starting any exercise program.

Extra protein. A shake may be sufficient to provide an extra boost for supporting weight loss.

Snack right. We all snack. Just avoid snacking on high-calorie, nutrient-deficient foods. In other words, keep the cake, potato chips and ice cream out of the house. Make “better bad” eating choices. If you’re out at a fast food restaurant and a greasy burger is calling your name, just choose a single-patty with lettuce and tomato and hold the cheese and mayo.

Dietary fiber. Be sure you are receiving sufficient amounts of dietary fiber daily. Fiber helps keep you feeling satisfied longer while also keeping bowel movements regular. I recommend gradually increasing fiber to 25-30 grams daily, in line with current National Fiber Council recommendations.

Weight loss success is often about making better choices.

Avoid sugary drinks. These can add “no nutrition” calories quickly. It’s best to drink plenty of purified water and/or nutrient-dense sugar drink alternatives.

Say no to “bad” fats. The “bad” includes saturated and trans fats. “Good” fats include olive oil rich in oleic acid and fish oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids. To take ultimate advantage of omega-3 fatty acids, it’s best to take a high-potency, high-quality fish oil supplement daily. New research also shows that dietary omega-3 fatty acids may be linked to lower bodyweight.

Mix it up. We all have individual differences. Something that may work for one person may not work for the next. Be sure to try a few different things and see what works best for you.

Whatever you do, it’s important that you don’t become discouraged. Shoot all scales. Pay attention to your body. As you continue to enjoy a reduced-calorie diet, providing your body with quality nutrition, and building muscle through exercise, then the weight will begin to come off safely.

  6. QUESTION:
What makes up a good weight loss program?
I'm interested in setting up a weight loss program for myself to get in shape for the summer, but I don't know where to begin.

    • ANSWER:
It's good to have the following three things when you are preparing to begin a new summer weight loss program:

      * To ensure that you can start an exercise program and a nutrition program, it's recommended to get a check-up from your doctor.

      * For your workout schedule it's a good idea to set aside at least 30 minutes every other day.

      * It's good to have access to workout equipment such as exercise machines and/or free weights.

Cardio work is a great place to begin your new summer weight loss exercise program. Cardio work has a number of benefits. First, it's great for getting your body warmed up for more strenuous physical activity. Also, it exercises your lungs and heart, and is a great foundation for burning off calories.

After some time you'll be able to workout more often, and gain more benefit from your exercise sessions. A good goal to work towards is a workout schedule of at least 30 minutes almost every day of the week. It's not a bad thing to take a break one day during the week.

It's not a bad idea to start with smaller 15-20 minute exercise sessions if you’re just beginning or in case you haven't exercised in a long time. You can even space the workout sessions out to every other day and slowly add days of exercise or increase the time of your workout sessions to further develop your summer weight loss exercise program.

Mix your exercises and activities up some, and pick something you really enjoy doing. Try exercising a little shorter one day, but then a longer the next day - keep the workout program a little varied.

You'll be able to raise your body's natural metabolism and build more lean muscle mass by integrating a strength training program into your summer weight loss workout routine. Lifting weights at least twice a week in addition to your regular cardio workouts will increase your body's rate of burning calories.

I'm sure it's easy to see that good exercise and a proper fitness plan is a vital component to achieving your summer weight loss goals. Another integral part of your plan should be your diet. It's recommended to adjust your diet as well as your exercise routine to help burn off more calories.

You might find that it's difficult to stick to a long-term diet and nutrition plan. If that the case, you might have an easier time trying to incorporate small changes to your diet at first, which could be more effective in the long run. It isn't really necessary to follow a specific nutrition plan, but there are some good guidelines to keep in mind for eating healthy:

      * Try to begin keeping track of what you eat. If you start keeping a food journal you might be surprised at how much food you actually consume, and by looking back on your eating habits it might be easier to find places where you can cut calories.

      * It's important that you don't skip any of your meals. Many people think that they can get ahead start on losing weight by cutting out meals, but this is not the case. There's a very good chance that it could backfire. In fact, you could actually end up eating more in the long run, not to mention that you could hinder your metabolism and as a result, your body will have a harder time burning calories.

      * You can effectively fight off hunger by drinking more water and/or tea. Staying hydrated is a great point to remember - it will also help to prevent fatigue.

      * One of the most difficult guidelines to follow is keeping your portion sizes in mind when preparing your meals. If you use smaller dishes, that might make it a little easier.

      * You can stay full without a lot of excess calories by eating foods high in fiber as well as fruits and vegetables.

You see that by integrating small changes into your diet and nutrition can be very beneficial to your summer weight loss. As a result, the change to your diet will be easier to follow if it's less drastic. Don't substitute foods that you already enjoy - instead, try adding more healthy foods to compliment your diet. Some good suggestions include fruits, salads, and whole grain breads. It's also a good idea to try eating out less often. You'll have greater control over your portion sizes by preparing your meals at home. You'll also be sure of exactly what you're getting since you choose all the ingredients. It's usually less expensive to stay at home as well, so you'll be able to save money on your food budget.

The main thing to remember is that you're looking for changes to your diet that your can effectively apply and stick to. It might not work very well to select a more complex diet and nutrition program if you don't have a lot of extra time on your hands. On the other hand, you might find it more enjoyable to prepare more healthy foods for yourself when you have more time available to you.

To sum up, proper nutrition and diet, strength training, and cardiovascular exercise, are all good effective components of a summer weight loss program. Keep in mind that you might actually be better suited to starting small and adding more healthy changes to your lifestyle over time. Following these suggestions and guidelines can help you accomplish your summer weight loss goals!

Can somebody give me a weight loss gym workout program for women?
I can't find a free weight loss program for women that we can do for a week. Everything is for men.

    • ANSWER:
Gym workout routines for women are specially categorized as there are certain physiological differences between a man and a woman. A woman needs to work out on her gym routine so that she can benefit the most. However, the workout routines should answer the following questions:

      * First, how to select the best and convenient place for the workout
      * How to kick-start the workout routines efficiently
      * How much time needs to be invested in exercising every day
      * What aspects one should consider while opting for a exercise schedule

The workout schedules which would help you to lose weight safely and comfortably are as follows:

  8. QUESTION:
Does the Nutrisystem Weight Loss Diet Program really work?
I plan on getting on the weight loss program in November (after having a baby). I would like to know if it really works???!!!! Just checked out their website and started looking around. I can’t find a price without letting them know my personal information. Does anyone know about how much it cost? Did it work for you? My plan is to drop about 50-60 pounds. The reason I am considering Nutrisystem is because the food is already made. With having a new baby I will be pressed for time. Please only respond if you have tried it or know someone that has. Thanks everyone!

    • ANSWER:
      Hi,
I just ordered Nutrisystem on Saturday 8/25/07 and I recieved my box of food yesterday 8/29/07. I have been on it for 2 full days! The first day I hated the first 2 things I ate and I was pretty pissed off and thought I would deffinatly quit. But today, however, everything I ate was actually really good!! I oredered the variety pack and my next month I'll get to choose which meals I like. You get ALOT of food and you eat like 6 times a day. They give you one week free...so it's 5 whole weeks of food. I paid exactly 3.90. It just was charged onto my credit card today. The people on the site are really cool and there are chat boards and free online classes. There is a lot to do on the site and it's quite fun making friends that are doing the same thing you are. I work ALOT, so I think that this is the best diet plan for me. I have gained 45 pounds since having my daughter 9 months ago (in November also). So far i feel like i have more energy and I'm happy with it. Don't just take my advice though....I've only been on it for 2 days. Best of Luck!!! : )

Does anyone have a weight loss program they would like to share?
I just need a simple, effective weight loss program, but I don't want to pay for it. Anyone want to share their secrets?

    • ANSWER:
To lose weight, you need to get your body to use up these stores of fat. The most effective way to do this is to:

1:) reduce the amount of calories you eat

2:) increase your levels of activity.

3:) jog in the morning BEFORE breakfast, since you would have been starving for a long time, the body will use fat supplies as energy!

Below are ways to reduce calorie intake without having to alter your diet significantly.

Replace fizzy drinks and fruit cordials with water.
Swap whole milk for semi-skimmed, or semi-skimmed for skimmed.
Eat less lunch than usual. For example, make your own sandwich and limit the use of margarine or butter and full-fat mayonnaise (store-bought sandwiches often contain both).
Stop taking sugar in tea and coffee.
Have smaller portions of the food you enjoy and avoid having a second helping at dinner.
Cut out unhealthy treats – such as confectionary, sugary biscuits and crisps between meals.
      Cut down on alcohole intake.

Don't be tempted to skip breakfast. While skipping a meal will reduce your calorie intake for that hour, it will leave you much hungrier later on.

Drinking fresh water also helps in removing waste and redundant calories which is great for losing weight and detoxifying the body. Drinking water frequently is a very important to maintaining a healthy diet and losing weight naturally.

Supplementing with Hoodia Gordonii Plus Appetite Suppressant contains 100% pure South African Hoodia plus other weight loss ingredients. On November 21, 2004 CBS correspondent, Lesley Stahl reported on 60 Minutes that a strange little plant, Hoodia Gordonii, “... is a natural substance that literally takes your appetite away.” According to CBS, “Scientists say that it fools the brain by making you think you’re full, even if you’ve eaten just a morsel.

Hoodia extract is one of the most potent appetite suppressants available. It was originally discovered after the hunting tribes of the Kalahari Desert were found to use the root of the plant to starve off hunger. The extract was chewed while on long hunting trips, and when food was scarce.

Hoodia which is 100% natural, works as well as, if not better than any drug based appetite suppressant. It works so well, that Pfizer has been reported to pay over £20 million pounds in funding to isolate the active molecule found in Hoodia – known as P57. The reason why? Hoodia is completely side effect free.

  17. QUESTION:
Does someone knows about a good weight loss program at a clinic or hospital in the Boston Area?
Does someone knows about a good weight loss program at a clinic or hospital in the Boston Area?

    • ANSWER:
You have one of the finest hospitals in the country in Boston: Brigham and Women's. If you call there, they may have such a program, or be able to refer you.

Having said that, weight loss is under your control. It is ALL about calories taken in vs. calories burned. If you eat more than your body needs, you'll gain weight. If you eat less, you'll lose weight. And you are probably taking in far more calories than you realize simply by snacking. By adjusting your meals to wholesome, filling foods without empty calories such as gravies and sauces, and then eliminating ALL snacking and "treats" such as dessert, candy, sweets, etc., you will lose weight at a sensible rate over time. Meanwhile, get out and move. Walk around the block a few times every single day. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. For short trips, walk, don't ride. If you do these simple things to modify your daily behavior, you'll lose weight. No question about it.

Start running but don't overexert yourself trying to lose it quick, it will take time but you will notice that you are gradually getting results. Go to the gym, running on the treadmill and doing the bicycle, although running outside will give you better results than a treadmill. Stay motivated, don't give up on your goal to achieving weight loss and don't cheat yourself, also stay positive and I hope everything works out for you... Good Luck

  21. QUESTION:
Is anyone on the Medi Slim Weight Loss Program?
I can't find much information about the Medi Slim weight loss program (not the pills) online other than from their own website. Is anyone out there on it or know someone on it with some good info? What kind of results are you seeing? Or is it as sketchy as it seems online? Any help would be amazing!

    • ANSWER:
I just started on the MediSlim program a week ago yesterday. I know you said "not the pills', and I am supposing you mean the appetite suppressant. I am taking the appetite suppressant. I started with half a tablet daily for a week and then one table daily since then. I had lost 5 pounds at my first appointment at one week and have been thrilled so far. I need to lose a total of 40 pounds on this program. I had already lost 20 on my own, but couldn't get any further.
I do not use any of the meal shakes which I think some people use.
I am very happy with this program, but I will say that it takes determination and commitment. It isn't always easy to consume such a lower caloric intake than I am used to, especially when going out to eat or to the movies, but thinking and planning ahead can help with that.
I have been really hungry at different times during the first week, but since I am seeing results, I can deal with the temporary and occasional hunger pangs.
The weekly injections ( I have had 2 so far ) are painless. I have noticed more energy than normal, especially the first day after injection. There is some swelling under the skin at the injection site, but it isn't painful any more than a mild bruise would be, and fades fairly fast.
I am keeping a daily food diary, which has been necessary in order for me to keep up with my calories. I meet with a nutritionist again at my 2 week appointment next week.
The only negative thing I am experiencing is some aching in my hips and legs, which is from the rapid weight loss. Fat holds toxins, so you can be sore and/or achy when the fat is released into the body for excretion. It's the same kind of aching or soreness people get after a first massage, and I expect it to get better after this initial couple of weeks of fast weight loss. The injections contain vitamins and amino acids to aid with the effects of and assist the weight loss.
I am looking forward to seeing what week 2 will bring. People have already noticed something different and have told me that I look amazing. All my size 14 pants are getting too big and I expect to fit easily into a size 12 by the end of this week. I was able to easily pull on and button a pair of my friends' size 12 capri pants yesterday and couldn't believe it.
Let me know if this helps at all or if you have any other questions.

Do nsaids interfere with a weight loss program?
I take 600 mg of prescription Ibuprofen 2 X a day. Will this medication interfere with a weight loss program? I hate to go through all that misery if the medicine is going to inhibit weight loss.

    • ANSWER:
No it will not. Antidepressants and blood pressure medication will.

What overweight women and men have learned is that for years virtually every professional bodybuilder, informed fitness expert and successful personal trainer would tell you the same thing. Whether you want to accelerate the burning of excess body fat, boost your metabolic rate, heighten your thermogenic output or increase your energy level, there is nothing stronger or more effective than the "thermogenic cocktail" of Ephedra, Caffeine, and Aspirin (The E/C/A- Stack"). Patented formula and scientifically proven to work without diet or exercise.

    • ANSWER:
Gina Kolata "Rethinking Thin" --> Commercial weight loss programs fail over the long term
Dean Ornish "Eat More, Weigh Less" --> Healthier diet (whole plant based) results in weight loss

I lost 80+ pounds by eating a healthier diet. My blood work and blood pressure are now perfect thanks to a healthy lifestyle and diet. I need no drugs.

For information on this diet, I recommend Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn's books.

  25. QUESTION:
Why does the weight loss program discourage exercise?
I'm on this weight loss program and they say not to exercise too much since I'm only eating 1200 calories. why do they discourage much needed exercise? Isn't it healthy?
I want to work out 5 times a week one hour a day on the elliptical and I know I will have better results...do you think this is a good Idea, I'm also a bit used to it
    Yeah...I thinking money.....

    • ANSWER:
they say a body needs 900 calories (minimum) to function properly. if you are burning more than 300 calories in exercise, there's your reason...

i would suggest you increase your caloric intake by how much you plan to burn off (on the treadmill/elliptical/whatever)

consult your trainer and tell them that you want to lose weight but you also want to be fit. compensate with food what you lose in the gym!

      GOOD LUCK

  26. QUESTION:
What are the keys to a successful weight loss program..?
    Hello Everyone,

What are you looking for when trying a weight loss program?

    Thank you for your time.

    • ANSWER:
The key to weight control is education and finding a way of eating that

1 - Matches your metabolic type and

2 - You find enjoyable enough so that you can stay on "the diet"

Actually a better way to look at it is your "diet" is what you are going to eat from now on. Not something you are going to "go on" until you lose so many pounds.

      Good luck!

  27. QUESTION:
Strength training in a weight loss program?
One always hears how strength training is good for a weight loss program, or how permanently switching to a better diet and incorporating strength training will add muscle and bring down the fat level.

How is this possible, though? Doesn't the body need a surplus of caloric intake (relative to stable rate) in order to add muscles, and a deficit of calories to burn fat? How do those two elements go together?

My guess would be that eating the biggest meal of the day, with slightly more protein than usual, following a strength training session will result in a "surplus" of calories for a short "time window" (say, the 3 hours following a workout) and in that time frame, the body will actually use energy/protein to build muscle. Once one goes back to small portions, the body will once again resort to burning fat instead of building muscles.

So basically, strength training with weight loss is possible, although the strength gains will be lesser than usual, and the weight loss slower?

    • ANSWER:
The only time that you need to be in a caloric surplus to add muscle is when you are at low fat percentages. However, you will need a surplus of NUTRIENTS (especially carbs and protein) to add muscle.

For example, someone who weighs 200 lbs and has 20% body fat will have a lean mass of 160 lbs and a resting metabolic rate of around 1950 calories per day.

If he eats 250 grams of carbs, 130 grams of protein, and 40 grams of fat per day, he will get adequate protein and carbohydrates while only consuming 1880 calories per day.

This will put him in a caloric deficit even when you do not factor in the calories that he will be burning from exercise. If he is lifting weights, he will be gaining muscle while slowly losing fat due to the caloric deficit.

Here is an article about muscle growth and a calorie estimator for gaining muscle while losing fat.
      http://www.spartafit.com/main/muscle%20growth.php
      http://www.spartafit.com/main/calories%20for%20toning%20up.php

Also, the increased muscle from working out will burn more calories.

  28. QUESTION:
weight watchers or fernwood slimplicity weight loss program?
I want/need to start a weight loss program (mostly for the accountability) and wondering what system would be best, weight watchers or the program at my fernwood gym or another than someone can suggest? Has anyone tried either? did it work?
PS. want to lose about 35plbs.

    • ANSWER:
gym always will be better choice!!!

if you really want to lose wight and fat then you should remember and do this:

      EVERYDAY RUN (WALK) + L-Carnitine + TAKE LESS CALORIES + LIPO-6 = 100% SUCCESS

      1) if you dint have then buy scales!!! that is the first thing to do!!

      2) run every 2 days for at least ~30 minutes or/and walk every day at least 5 km!

      3) L-Carnitine!!!

L-Carnitine is a nutrient that helps the body turn fat into energy. It is produced by the body in the liver and kidneys and stored in the skeletal muscles, heart, brain, and sperm. Usually, the body can make all the carnitine it needs. Some people, however, may be deficient in carnitine because their bodies cannot make enough carnitine or transport it into tissues so it can be used. Some other conditions, such as angina or intermittent claudication, can also cause insufficient carnitine in the body, as can some medications.L-Carnitine is made in the body from the amino acids lysine and methionine. It increases the use of fat as an energy source by transporting fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are ‘burned’ to release energy for body functions. It is available in several different forms including propionyl-L-carnitine and acetyl-L-carnitine. Propionyl-L-carnitine, through its enhancement of metabolism has been proven to prevent ischemia-induced heart dysfunction, and acetyl-L-carnitine has been suggested to delay the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. L-carnitine is found naturally in avocados, breast milk, dairy products, red meats (namely lamb and beef), and tempeh (fermented soybean product).

L-carnitine should be taken one hour before you will exercise! (Also you can take L-carnitine with meals or 1 to 1-1/2 hours after meals!)

L-Carnitine boosts energy by stimulating the body's burning of tryglycerides as fuel, and sparing the supply of glycogen stored in the liver for heavier exertion. During exercise, the body will burn fat at a rate of 75-80% of maximum exertion, thus less glycogen from carbohydrates is burned. L-carnitine
allows the body to burn more fat, save more glycogen, and ultimately boost stamina and endurance. By providing more fat to the muscles, carnitine makes accessible an otherwise unavailable energy source.

      FAT + OXYGEN + L-CARNITINE = ENERGY

      5) you MUST change your diet!! start to use products with less fat, less carbohydrates! start count your calories! do not eat more than ~2000 per day and if you feel that you can reduce this number then do it!

because if you will use L-Carnitine - you will get calories from your body fat too!! so better is to eat 2kg fruits then 1 cheeseburger...
and drink more and more water!! REMEMBER - NO rice, NO pasta, NO pork, NO mayonnaise, NO sweets, NO candies, NO alcohol!!!!!
      MORE fruits, vegetables!!!

      6) also you should use some fat-burner! I had tried many of them but only one worked for me as fast as I wanted to! it was Lipo-6! I lost ~80 pounds in 3 months! No starvation!! only LESS CALORIES + Lipo-6 + L-Carnitine + EVERYDAY RUN (WALK) = SUCCESS!!!

I do not know if any store carry Lipo-6 but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.healthbuy.com/product/overview/lipo6_weight_loss/?aid=749165

It worked for me and my wife!

and this method is working for my friends too!!

just try it and I guarantee you 100% that you will lose wight!!!

      good luck!!!

  30. QUESTION:
What is a good online weight loss program that will help me lose weight fast?
I am 13 and 155 pounds. I need to know a good online weight loss program that will help me lose thirty pounds before September. If you have any more questions just email me at fifa_samer96@yahoo.com

    • ANSWER:
I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Now this doesn't mean you have to follow my foot steps but I've successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

I am looking for a weight loss program?
I am looking for a weight loss program because I have recently put on some weight in the last year, and I see A LOT of different programs, but I was hoping someone might have some good places to start. Thanks in advance

    • ANSWER:
      Hi. there.

I actually recently ran into this issue; mainly because I will be 43 soon, and I've been drinking a lot of beer cuz my life sucks.

Anyway, I have had two major neck fusions with a titanium plate from c3-c7 that didn't take, plus a major back fix and fuse with 2 bars that also got botched.

I can't do a lot of the normal stuff, and haven't ran since 1990, about 1 year before I got out of the Army.

There are many resources for a good weight loss program, but what really helped me lose about 20 lbs fast was this site: http://topweightlossprogram.info/

I lost like 20 pounds with exercises that even I can do with my physical limitations! It's an awesome feeling!

Hope it's as helpful to you as it was me.

  33. QUESTION:
What is the most effective affordable weight loss program?
I was interested in curves, but it seems to be kind of expensive...and I'm not ready to invest into somthing that I'm not positive is worth it. I need suggestions of weight loss programs and such that arent as pricey...but are effective:) Any ideas are welcome:) THNX:)

    • ANSWER:
This is not specifically for weight loss, but it is for absolute health. And if you are over weight, it's not healthy, and you WILL lose weight by "FASTING". It is the most (bar none) heathiest thing anyone can do for themselves. Not only will you lose weight, you will be, and feel heathier than you ever have in the past. Read up on it as much as you can, but a few tips you must do are:
Drink pure fluid, double strain all fresh juice (NO pulp)
      Drink plenty of distilled water
Make a vegetable broth (double strain it) and drink everyday
      NO solid food at all
You must do an enema everyday to get rid of toxins
Scrub dead skin aff your body daily

Do this for a week. You will be hungry for 2 days, but when your body realizes you aint giving it any food, it will begin to eat the fat stored in your body. First it will eat any cysts if you have them, then it will eat other fat, including the fat around your gut. You will be most importantly healthier, and of course leaner.

Read up on Fasting as much as you can first, as it is important that you do it right. The enema sucks, but it is very important.

I want to detoxify my body and loss weight healthily and rapidly. I want to lose 90 lbs by the end of the year.

    • ANSWER:
I did fatloss4idiots diet plan and I lost about 50 pounds in not even 3 months. And I've kept it off for almost 2 years now. I found it to be the easiest diet because it pretty much told you what you could and couldn't eat and you didn't have to count points or anything like that. What I lost really isn't typical for the amount of time I did it but I know others who have done it and they got really good results from it as well.

  36. QUESTION:
Has anyone used the Terry White, Tony Ferguson weight loss program?
I'm thinking about getting a little help to loose some extra kgs and was wondering if anyone has been on the Tony Ferguson weight loss program, if so what are their thoughts?
    Thanks.

    • ANSWER:
I am currently following the Tony Ferguson program. I started on April 1st 2008. It has been really easy.
I walked out of the Tony Ferguson Weight Loss centre after the initial consultation and thought how am I going to do this, after they explained to me all the food that you are NOT allowed to eat. I was thinking that is my Diet, (Pasta, Rice, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Corn, Peas).
I told myself I will give it a go for a month, following it exactly as they say.
I started at 82kg on 1st April, and now on the 11th September I am 60kg. (which is my goal weight).
I am doing it with a friend and she has lost 33kg. She also started on the 1st April with me.
The shakes are really nice, I do not buy the soups, only because I really enjoy the shakes. I heat my morning shake up and have it hot and my shake at lunch time I mix with ice cubes in a blender.
I would go for it if I were you, you will be amazed at how easy it is.
I also find that because I am not buying diet coke and snacks daily, that I am actually saving money on it as well.

  40. QUESTION:
I need a good weight loss for home program?
My past post was for my mom, now this post is for my brother whos 15 yrs old. just give me/him a home weight loss program, one that is about 5-10 minutes long and its quick (short time), works efectivly (even though its about 10 mins), and easy. thx guys, my bro will be soo happy

    • ANSWER:
      hello!
there is no such a short weight loss program which causes the decrease in the weight.minimum 2 hours of exercise is necessary even at home or gym to reduce the weight
With these seven exercises you can do a complete, at home, fat burning workout.
      try these tips:
      1) body weight squat
      2) push up or kneeling push up
Do exercises 1 and 2 back to back with no rest. Aim for 8-12 repetitions per set. If you are advanced, you can use dumb ells for the squat and even harder push up, such as decline push ups to increase the difficulty of the workout. For beginners, stick to body weight squats and kneeling push ups.
Do the squat and push up back to back without rest, but rest 1 minute before repeating the exercises again. Then rest a minute, and repeat one more time. Then you will have done this superset (that's what it is called when you do two exercises back to back) 3 times.
      3) split squat
      4) mountain climber
A split squat is also called a stationary lunge. That requires you to split your feet apart by taking a step forward. Use the wall for balance if you are a beginner. If you are advanced, you can hold dumb ells in your hands during the split squat. Do all repetitions for one side and then repeat for the other side. Drop your hips straight down and use your glut es and hamstrings and quadriceps to push your body back up. Do 8 repetitions per side.

For the mountain climber, get into a push up position. Brace your abs as if someone was going to punch you in the stomach. Maintain that during the entire exercise. Lift one foot off the ground and bring that knee up to your chest. Touch the foot down. Slowly return to the start position. Alternate sides for 10 repetitions per side.
      5) Reverse lunge
      6) Close-grip push up
A reverse lunge is a moving split squat. Stand with your feet together. Take a step back with one leg. Drop your hips down and bend both knees. Then squeeze your butt and thigh of the front leg (the leg that didn't go anywhere) and pull yourself back up to the start position. Do 8 reps on one side and 8 on the other. Beginners use the wall for balance. Advanced can hold dumb ells in hands.
The close grip push up is the same as the normal push up, except your hands are shoulder width apart, not wider. Keep your elbows tucked into your sides. This works your triceps (the back of your arms) more. Do 8-15 repetitions.
      7) Jumping jacks
Finish the workout with the classic Jumping Jack exercise. beginners do 20 and then stretch. Advanced fitness levels can do 50 jumping jacks, take a 30 second break, and repeat up to 3 times. Then finish with stretching for your tight muscle groups.
This workout should take no more than 24 minutes, but it will boost your metabolism for 24 hours
These tips will be of good use in loosing the weight
      hope it helps you.

  47. QUESTION:
Is there a good working weight loss program?
Someone very dear to me has recently commented on her own weight and asked me to help her to work out when she doesn't want to, and to basically be a coach to help her and with right selling side her. I need help though, I need good weight loss supplements and a rigorous schedule. Any working supplements in mind?

    • ANSWER:
There are thousands, hundreds of thousands of weight loss programs and diets out there.
You could say that some of them work, but the majority are short term solutions and deprive you of essential nutrients and water. They seem to work amazingly well but the moment you stop this program or diet the weight piles back on in the blink of an eye.
      Most are very expensive too.
I believe the safest, cheapest and most effective solution is the simple 'burn more calories than you consume' method. Don't settle with a drastic diet where you starve yourself. Start out small and slowly lower the number of calories you intake per day. An easy way to do this is cut out all drinks other than water. Soft drinks, sport drinks, energy drinks, tea and coffee all contain high amounts of calories that are pretty much a waste so you might as well save those calories for your food.
Eat healthy foods! Control your portion sizes and don't deprive yourself of the foods you love. Just have them OCCASIONALLY and in SMALL portions!

If you have an iPhone or iPod touch there are some really great apps that help you contol your calories and have great facts about food and energy. Some of my favourites: 'MyFood', 'Snack App', 'MyFitnessPal', 'RunKeeper' etc. There's loads out there!
      Hope this helps.

  48. QUESTION:
What diet pills are good to use with a weight loss program?
I have wanted to lose some weight, and I managed to drop about 7 pounds just by eating better and jogging 3 days a week, and doing at least an hour of exercises every day.

I wanted to know, what is the best diet supplement pill to use with a program? My metabolism has become slower as I got older so I need some thing that will help give me a boost.

    • ANSWER:
Follow these 10 tips for fat burning if you want to lose weight and lead a healthier way of life.

      1.) Drink More Water

One of the best weight loss secrets is to ditch the sodas and stick to water! Experts say you should drink approximately eight glasses of water a day to stay hydrated and healthy. Instead of turning to calorie-laden or sugar-rich drinks, grab a refreshing glass of water. In addition to flushing toxins out of your system, drinking water encourages you to build muscle.

      2.) Eat More Meals

A traditional three-meals-a-day plan just will not cut it if you are in the market to burn fat. Your body is not able to metabolize large meals and will quickly turn any excess into fat. Many experts believe you should eat six small meals a day. Be sure you cut back on your food consumption at each meal, or else you will be doubling your intake—and doubling your fat storage!

      3.) Work Out with Weights

One great way to maximize the amount of fat you are burning is to add a weight program to your work out routine. Weight training will not only tone your physique, but will strengthen your body and improve your general health. Lifting weights will also burn calories and fat more quickly than traditional exercising, and it will also boost your metabolism.

      4.) Choose Protein

Choose protein-laden foods for boosting your metabolism and enabling your body to burn fat rapidly. In addition to burning fat, consuming a protein-enriched diet will help you rebuild muscle after work outs and maintain leanness of that muscle. Wisely choose proteins for your diet. Take great care to pick proteins low in fat so you do not consume extra calories.

      5.) Cut Calories Wisely

It may be tempting to drastically cut your calorie intake when starting a healthy lifestyle. Instead, use a step method when cutting your calorie intake to minimize risk. Reducing calories too quickly results in your body rapidly burning all available calories, which will lower your metabolism. Furthermore, you are more likely to maintain your healthy lifestyle through this step method.

      6.) Reward Yourself

When it comes to successfully dieting to burn the most fat, be sure to reward yourself. Everyone has temptations and favorite treats—so allow indulgence. You will be less likely to cheat on your new diet if you grant yourself small rewards. If you are a chocolate lover, treat yourself to a small square of chocolate or single chocolate kiss each evening.

      7.) Avoid Marathon Work Outs

The biggest mistake people make when looking to burn fat and lose weight is to have one long, extensive work out session. Instead, break up your work out plan into small chunks throughout the day. Take a brisk walk in the morning, enjoy a work out at lunch, and then exercise more in the evening. In addition to staying active all day long, breaking up your work out will better maintain your metabolism.

      8.) Mix It Up

Choosing to engage in a variety of quality exercises will keep your interest and best allow you to maintain your goal of burning fat. Instead of doing the same exercises each day—mix it up! Opt to swim laps one day, jog another, and bike the next. Rotating your activities will not only allow you to experience a variety of athletics, it will also allow you to better tone your body.

      9.) Skip Happy Hour

For those individuals who want to burn fat quickly, avoid alcohol. Rich in sugars and carbohydrates, alcohol is a calorie-rich substance. These empty calories can add up quickly and take away from necessary nutrients that should be included in your daily diet. Furthermore, alcohol acts as an inhibitor for burning fat, allowing your body to store it more quickly.

10.) Try a Low GI Diet

A low GI diet is an excellent method of burning fat quickly. This diet encourages individuals to consume high amounts of foods with low rankings on the Glycemic Index. These foods are nutritious and will aid your body in burning fats and calories at a quicker pace. This diet includes many of your favorite fruits, vegetable, meats, dairy, and grain products.

AP STATISTICS QUESTION: As part of a weight-loss program in a private men's club, all members were weighed at?
As part of a weight-loss program in a private men's club, all members were weighed at one of their monthly meetings. It was found that their weights were uniformly distributed over the interval [184, 246]. Based on these facts, which of the following best approximates the percent of the members whose weight was over 200 pounds?

    • ANSWER:
      Uniform function: 1/b-a where 184 a=184
      b=246
      F(x) = 1/ 62

Basically find the area under the function to find the probability:
      weight over 200 pounds = P(X>200) = b * h = (246-200) * 1/64 = 23/32 or 0.719 (3dp)

  50. QUESTION:
How effective is Jillian Michaels online weight loss program? Is it helpful personalized information?
Is it just generic weight-loss information I could compile myself or are people having success with "weight loss success"? Do not spam me with ads for acai- or anything else...

    • ANSWER:
Aha well I'm pretty biased I gotta admit (hence my username), but Jillian Michaels IS a top-notch personal trainer and I've heard quite a few success stories from her online weight loss program.

Her weight loss program probably incorporates a lot of other factors that other programs don't considering the amount of research she does and the fact that she quite a few books out on weight loss and one on metabolism which just came out in April.

I've learned a lot just by listening to her radio show so I expect that this program of hers that you actually have to pay for should be pretty damn effective.
