      I know just how you feel and I do believe that it is possible for you to loss weight that amount of weight by august 24. So what I suggest is that you eat a balanced diet with lots of fruit and vegtables and water. Lots of water. Also do about a hour of excercise a day, I suggest jump roping for 20 minuts, few minuts of dumbbell excercise, and maby some yoga. And also a half hour of brisk walking or joging. Do this every day but you are welcome to switch it up a little. Also for eating strategies you should eat slow or slower so you will have time to feel you stomach and you are almost garenteed that you will eat less, cutting down calories. This is all I can think of at the moment but you can also ask you doctor for things you can do and ask friends or reletives.       Just get up early have little warming up and slowly move to exercises. Later take breakfast, never miss it. It is the most important part of meal.

      Zantrex-3- Amazing, i lost 2 stone on these without any shakiness, sickness or any side effects,
      Alli- 3 lousy pounds and that was never worth the side effects.

      I understand the problem with meds and weight gain. Going through it myself. However, I would not risk any supplement etc. This is because they may have something in them that could trigger a manic state. Supplements are not required to be tested by the FDA and we don't always know what is in these supplements and what might trigger an exacerbation in our symptoms. I do agree with the other poster about exercise. It is sooooo hard to do. I seriously have problems with staying motivated but my 15 year old (also bipolar) excercises everyday and she actually weighs less AND she eats whatever she wants. She just gets a lot of excercise and it works. Hope that helps.

      as for sensible diet part -- and i'm not being funny here (it's what works) stop eating so much. most of us have 2 double whoppers with cheese, or super size our meals etc. Just stop eating as much -- 2 hot dogs instead of four, 1 whopper instead of 2, reduce calories gradually but noticeable. After a week or so, start throwing in the baked potato or salad instead of fries etc.
      Just start eating less and less, then start eating healthier. Find good healthy things you can eat a lot of. And don't worry about the 'fat pig' comments or looks -- don't do it because of that, do it for your other reasons -- your life -- you're only 31 and have to live long and healthy to take care of your kids.

      Work in the exercise program in whatever form you can -- walk more (stairs instead of elevators, park a little further away and work), take walks with kids, pets, start doing floor exercises, plays sports with kids etc. You don't have to join a gym or do 5 hrs of fitness a day -- just more than you are now.

      GOOD LUCK -- eat less, eat healthy, start exercising, and exercise more.

      I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

      Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

      First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...

      This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.

      However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work.       3. Personally, I need someone that is knowledgeable about dealing with the disabled. I need this because I am disabled so if I were to get a diet plan and exercise plan from him/her, I need them to be realistic about what I can and can't do.

      They need to know what they are doing, be realistic about the genetic and psychological factors behind being overweight... People that CAN just "Stop Eating" and lose the weight DO... But those that have deeper issues need specialized treatment and understanding.

      Whatever you do, get your fiber from your food, not from a jar.
      Fruits and vegetables have good fiber in them.

      The reason I recommend this is because I would have it done in a heartbeat if I had the money. It has no cutting, they put the balloon in by going down your throat. It is safe, even if the balloon broke you just pee out the salt water. It is completely removable.

      What worries me about other surgeries is that the results don't last, they cause masses of pain and may make your life a living hell. Really think about this course of action and try to find a pain reduced way of going about it.

      I wont tell you to go on a diet, at 200 kilos I hear it all the time and I know it wont mean much because I ignore people too. I know how bad it feels to be overweight and I hope you find an answer which works for you.
