      Alli worked the best for me because it limits the amount of fat your able to ingest before becoming "sick." The pill is designed to block 25% of the fat you take in and you have to limit the amount of fat you are getting to about 12-15 grams per meal. If you take in more, it is possible to have hard to control bowel movements and discomfort... it never happend to me, but it definitely scared me enough to not risk it! One thing I didn't like about Alli though was that it also blocks the good fat you need, so you have to take a lot of extra supplements and vitamins to make sure you are getting adequate nutrition. Also, just a side note, Alli only helps you to lose five extra pounds per ever 10 you would have lost without it.

      (If you are looking for more of a supplement to add to your diet instead of a weight loss pill, I would TOTALLY recommend Chromium Picolinate. You can get it at most health food stores. It helps to get rid of the fat in your system without any nasty side effects.)

      My best advice is diet and exercise. There really is no quick fix out there. The whole idea is that you are burning more calories than you take in. I know... a lot easier said than done... but when it comes down to it, the bottom line is that if you aren't able to control what you eat and how much activity you get, there is no supplement that is going to be your miracle cure.

The fastest and most cost effective way to lose weight is by going to Walgreens picking up a 60 tablet box of Bronkaid and a bottle of 100 tablet 200mg caffeine.

      Dosing based on 20 or 25 mg ephedrine HCL pills (or ephedrine sulfate)

      I have a couple of water bottles next to the couch.. each time I sit on the couch I pick them up and lift them up and down.
      It is boring and it seems useless to do but if you get used to do it,., after just 20 minutes you will start sweating and your arm will get tired.

And what I've found is that if I eat a piece of bread or have a sandwich, then those refined carbohydrates alter my blood sugar in a way that makes me extremely hungry three or four hours later. If I had eaten a high protein meal, or a meal high in healthy fats and fibers, I wouldn't be hungry so quickly. So it is these processed foods that are in fact causing the obesity in the first place. And consuming diet pills or weight loss supplements simply isn't the answer to long-term weight loss. The answer is to look at your lifestyle, examine what you're doing wrong that needs to be corrected, and then have the courage to make the changes that will bring you into a healthy body weight and keep you there for life.

    On my cheat day, i ate whatever i wanted. when i got on the scale two nights later, i have gained SEVEN pounds back. SEVEN! I was so disgusted and disappointed with myself, then my depression set in and i can't seem to get my motivation back. I havent seen results in weeks. I stay at the same weight. I am 5'8" and weigh about 197.
    I am desperate to lose pounds, not to be "skinny," but to feel healthier.

    I decided to turn to a weight loss supplement, or dietary supplement (whatever they're called). I need to know if there are any good ones that i could go pick up at my local pharmacy or grocery store that won't cost me an arm and a leg. I know there are a lot of unsafe ones, but i have tried some supplements before and didnt have any serious side effects.

      Phentermine works wonders, i don't know how safe it is but I know several people who've lost lots on that pill. Theres weight loss clinics you can go to where a doc will prescribe the pill and also give b12 shots which seems to help too.

      The big three pharmaceuticals would dominate the market.
      Approved or otherwise, none of these weight loss supplements guarantee anything unless you establish a healthy diet and exercise program.
      So why not just establish a healthy diet and exercise program and keep your money?
      You will be spending somewhere between and per day on a product that is not approved or guaranteed to do anything!
      The only weight loss supplement I recommend is a basic multivitamin.

      And yes they are dangerous. Heart, liver, kidney, intestinal, and neurological damage and death have all been the result of diet pills. That is why the FDA hasn't approved any new ones for 14 years.
      These supplement manufacturers are using human guinea pigs (you) for these products. As long as no one gets sick or dies, and they don't get fined or shut down they will keep making and selling this junk. Whether it works or not.

      Doing exercise releases good endorphins therefore i would do it in the morning so you have the feel good factor for the rest of the day, It is best to exercise before food as when you start to exercise the blood that was going to the stomach to help with digestion is being used in the muscles therefore your body gets rid of whats in the stomach, so you will be sick. Best to leave at least 30 mins between eating and exercise.

      Things to Avoid (No benifit to the body):
      1) Hydrogenated oils (All Hydrogenated Oils are Trans Fats)
      2) High Fructose corn Syrup
      3) Aspartame (Equal and its in a lot of sugar-Fee stuff (Not a good alternative to sugar Better off just cutting back on the sugar, Its not a alternative if you are diabetic its actually bad for diabetics)
      IF you want a sugar substitute try Sweet'n Low (or a generic)
      Sprenda hard on digestion, avoid all other alternative sweeteners.
      4) phosphoric acid (in Colas) all SODA are to be avoided (If you have trouble going without try organic or Natural Soda alternatives)
      5) Fried Foods (eat rarely, special Occasion)
      Check the ingredient's you'd be surprised at what foods you will find which have these poisons.

      this may sound like a lot but its not really, just cutting out the bad stuff alone and using the alternative versions would make a insanely big different alone.
      avoiding those things alone and doing nothing else. You can prob. maintain a healthy weight, but to lose weight it may take more work on your part until you reach a healthy weight.

      6. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep you loose weight while you sleep and your body functions better. When its rested the body heals from the stresses of the day while sleep mentally and physically.

      7. High Fiber diet is a must at at least 35 Grams.

      8. High Protein (I just use Protein powder its easier) then worrying about the foods you eat, though chicken has very high protein.

      9. If you cook use Canola Oil its the most balanced in Healthy fats like Omega 6, 9. or even better try Smart Balance Omega as your for-all oil, I use it even for baking in place of butter or margarine as well as cooking.

      10. Drink a lot of Tea, Green Tea drink as much of tea you can its insanely healthy green is known to help with weight loss.
      Of curse drinking any tea is good helps with digestion, though Black tea can be acidic, Eat first. Other teas are fine on empty stomach.

      11. A Colon cleanse best after a detox tea which you can buy in any grocery store I'm pretty sure Safe, easy and cheap.

      I got my sea salt in the Dollar Tree *don't know if you have one* otherwise its about 3-4 dollars anyways basically:

      MIX 2 Tsp. Of Sea Salt (not iodized) with 1 - 2 Quarts of warm filtered water drink that after a night sleep BEFORE you eat anything, as fast as possible but don't make yourself sick. I've taken 10-15 minutes to drink it, it will work either way just takes longer when u take longer and may not be as powerful, basically what that does is Give you a bowl movement within 1 hour of drinking it, should be done within 2 hours (usually less) basically you pass all that liquid and as you can imagine it takes waste with it. you can do that 2 times in a row if you have the time. or if you feel you have a lot more inside you or you can do it as much as you can do it once a day if you want, as far as I know its safe I do it whenever I feel I've gained a little or am a little bloated, I'm at my ideal weight I'm about 5'9 141 pounds, and I am 29 years old.

      12. HIGH PROTEIN, any source is fine, High I mean about 50+ Grams a day, and HIGH FIBER about 40 Grams, may seems hard but its not so hard. just takes some thinking, Dark Kidney beans work I eat them from the can but that's just me it has at least 17.5 grams of fiber alone per can and 28 grams of Protein, plus its 3.5 servings of veggies, and it has antioxidants all that jazz.

      12. Spinach, broccoli any greens, corn any veggies or fruits you like by all means eat them as snacks they are filling and have fiber and antioxidants.
