Okay, so it's not about dieting, it's about healthy lifestyle choices. Meaning: eating healthy throughput your life, not only for '2 months'. Snack on fruits and veggies. When you think you are hungry, drink a glass of water, cause sometimes your mind may tell your hungry but, you really are thirsty. Eat slowly, and don't stuff yourself, eat until you 80% full not 100%. Eat smaller portions., and make sure to get all your food groups (fruit/veggies, dairy -low fat-, protein, meat/fish, grain ect.) Eat low fat dairy milk products such as skim milk, and 0% yogurt. exercise daily (run, jog, walk). Drink water,milk, and tea. No juice, soda or milkshakes. Also, cut down on the "white products" such as white rice, white flour, white pasta ect., try whole grain instead. When eating Packaged foods, make sure to read the Nutrition Facts for the amount of sodium, sugar and fat. And make sure they are low in those categories. I agree w/ the two other answers. Don't use pills, they don't work and are always unhealthy in their own way. Push ups and sit ups are great but they won't help you lose weight, try going on fast walks or using a treadmill. Eat anything you want and plenty of it, EXCEPT sugar and any product that has sugar, keep fat content as close to zero as possible. No butter, no oils!!! Eat tuna, boneless, skinless chicken and turkey filets and massive quantities of salad and steamed veggies. Your salad dressing should be a little bit of apple cider vinegar or lemon w/ spices, no salt and just a few drops of sesame seed oil. good luck!!

I feel your pain I was also 220 lbs. I did slim fast at first and counted calories, I lost my first 25 lbs. Then I Incorporated workouts and lost 25 more lbs. Now I am 170 I still have about 45 more lbs left to go.Now I eat in moderation trying to eat 5 small meals a day making sure to eat bananas in the morning. (the potassium in them helps relieve sore muscles so you especially need them when working out)
My workout routine consists of Bob's Biggest loser boot camp
and Tae Bo Boot camp elite or Amped.( I do both with about 3-5lbs added weight) I usually do this for 4-5x a week. I also have 2 line dancing classes during the week for about 1-2 hrs.You don't want to try quick fix diets because you will end up being hungry for most of the day and you don't want your stomach growling during class or work.
If you follow any diet plan and stick to it you will be surprised at the weight you will lose.
