How long can you safely stay on a 1200 calorie diet, while taking a one a day vitamin for people on a weight loss programs. The program includes exercise and healthy eating. I currently way 214 and I am planning to stay on this diet until my weight drops below 200 at which time I will consume a 1500 calorie diet until i weigh under 175 pound at which time i will increase my calories to 1800 until I reach my ideal weight of 158 ponds. Exercising right means that you monitor your heart rate and make sure that you reach your target heart rate and maintain it for the longest period of time while exercising. You have two targets a fat burn zone and an cardiovascular zone. The fat burn is usually 60% of your maximum an d is easier to achieve and maintain and if your goal is weight loss this is where you want to be. Just walking/excising is a good start but if you want to get the most out of your work out find out what your target range is. If you don't belong to a gym then I recommend the
Polar Fitness F11 Heart Monitor Watch.Step 3: You need to decrease your caloric intake or increase the amount of calories your body uses in a day by 500 calories a day for a week to lose 1 pound. Ok first please do not tell me to exercise or slid in that i really should exercise at the end. I have a major issue with my knee and if I push it to far I wind up on my butt for 2 days with my knee up which completely defeats the purpose of exercising. So I eat as healthy as possible, no excess sugars, no excess salt, very low gluten, all that jazz but nothing is coming off. I lost about 15lbs when I first started but that was before messing up my knee. Now I haven't lost anything in what seems like forever. Just keep in mind that a multivitamin is not a substitute for good nutrition: you should get most of your nutrients from food, as your body is better able to utilize them that way then from a vitamin.As far as the weight loss, it looks like the active ingredients for that are chromium and some B vitamins, plus EGCG. Personally I've never been too impressed with the diet-supplement properties of these chemicals, but there is some evidence to suggest that they are helpful.

First of all, it's really great that you're setting a goal and have a strong plan to reach it. that's half the battle right there!Vitamins -- There are lots of pills that help with weight loss, but most of them require a prescription. Over the counter pills can be purchased at most drugstores or grocery stores. These are regulated by the FDA (or equivalent government agency if you’re outside the US), so these products can’t make over-the-top claims. Typically these will increase you energy or metabolism.
Food -- As long as you have a healthy diet, you should be good. Make sure that you eat your fruits and veggies. Also consider eating five or six smaller meals throughout the day instead of the usual three. This will keep your metabolism burning more consistently and keep you from getting too hungry.
Shoes -- I can't really say, but pretty much anything that will give you good support should do. I wouldn't stress too much about the shoes.
Also, you'll probably want to think about adding some weight training to your workout. These exercises help build new muscle, which is great because this muscle will burn up calories and body fat.
