I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...
This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.
However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Now this doesn't mean you have to follow my foot steps but I've successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

So most of the times when i've actually lost weight it was just because of some change in my life that caused it or lead me to be really busy and forget about food or limit my intake of food.i don't like superficiality. i hate hearing about how people want to be hot. mainly i want to hear about the health benefits of losing weight and not the social or egotistical benefits.
but thats pretty obvious. is there any kind of motivational support or group that can help with this dilemma. i want to have a positive experience with diet and excercise.
if anyone can recomend any books or online support for this that would be really good for me.

Sounds like a good idea. Some good things would be advice on exercising and foods to eat. Links to websites that can help people track calories in foods and calories lost for various exercises. Supplements would be vastly useful, as well as stories of success or good ideas for getting movitated.

Hey,I'm a personal trainer starting up a website focused on helping people lose weight over the internet. I want to be able to have them fill out a questionaire. Then with that info create a diet and workout routine over 3 months. I would track their progress every two weeks and adjust their program as necessary. It's a minimum of a 30 pound weight loss or their money back. I've been training for 12 years and have been thinking about this for awhile. Do you think anyone would actually purchase that kind of plan?

Alright so I realize this may seem a little desperate but that's exactly what I am right now.I'm seventeen-years-old and I weigh 187lbs (yes I realize how obese I am) and yes I realize how unhealthy that is. Before I had my daughter I was in my 140's which is still a little more than what I should be at my height (4'9'') however I've gained about fourty-five pounds during the pregnancy and have not been able to shed one single pound off and my daughter is now thirteen-months-old. My mother is overweight yet loosing it currently. She looses anywhere between 4-6lbs on average a week. I've tried the same thing (counting what I eat) but it did not work.
I do not keep gaining however I just cannot seem to loose it either.
I am at my computer once, somtimes twice daily on yahoo usualy or myspace. I was just curious if I could get somebody who I could takl to everyday or every other day and maybe help me work out some program that really works. Including what I eat and excersize.
If so please leave your yahoo or myspace.
