      Still isn't healthy, no matter how you look at it, but the best thing you can do to drop five to ten pounds or so, (two or three inches is a lot), is a mild diuretic added to your diet SHORT TERM. Leek broth, (buy leeks, cook them down, drink the broth, eat the leeks) works wonders for french women! Basically, don't stop drinking water because this will actually make you retain more, but pulling the excess water out of your system and reducing inflammation in your body is the quick fix you're looking for.       Stretching before your workout helps you not to pull a muscule during your workout.

      Well, you really should have started a few weeks earlier, but yeah, summer vacation gets a buncha people going and takes up time for studying, and exercising. You can still start now, and have a fit body in a few weeks if you make an exercise work out plan. Just eat healthy, exercise at least 2-3 times a day by doing crunches, push-ups, pull-ups, weight lifting, or jogging/running a track. This will help you get toned in no time. But, everything takes time, so you can start whenever your schedule is free.

      you may not like this, but its going to take some time.
      the only healthy way to loose that weight (and probably in your case just build muscle) is not a quick fix that most people like.

      (also, you will initially lose weight, then you will gain weight, because muscle weights more than fat. if you want an accurate measure of how well your doing, do body measurments, like around thighs...ect...)

      (these exercises will work if you don't have acess to a gym or weights)

      i have the same issue. Squats are especially good for thighs. also try lunges, you can vary it by adding weights (start low, it may not feel like a lot at first, but the more you do it, the heavier it seems) or doing walking lunges. whatever you do, you must do it in reps. i usually go ffor 3 sets of 12.
      another killer one is the 'wall sit' you do this, again in a few reps, for 1 or 2 minuets at a time.

      For you stomache, there are many different kinds of sit ups you can do.

      remember to take at least one day off in the week.

      it is also a good idea to do cardio, it will make you much healthier. (you can do this by running, biking. anything that gets your heart rate up) i personally dislike cardio the most!

      it is also important (ofcourse) that you eat well. Take a look at what your eating. what can you cut out? can you replace that snack of chips (or w/e) with something healthier, but just as good? there are a lot of easy changes you can make. especially when it comes to sugar....im now getting a bit off topic.
      they key is consistancy. you have to stick with it. if you don't get the desired results right away, it doesnt mean you need to work out all the time. (that is bad for you. you can work out like 4 hours a day though) i only do 2.

      I gained 35-40 pounds during pregnancy. At 2 weeks, I lost 20 pounds, which is half of what I gained. It has almost been 5 weeks and I still haven't lost anymore.Maybe 3 pounds that's about it. It is frustrating. I am breastfeeding and I have been exercising here and there. I am not really dieting due to breastfeeding, but I think I am going to start something here this week.       You are NOT fat. A size 11 sounds like a nice figure to me. Drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day will help you out a lot over the next week or two, but it won't get you to a size 7.       What you’re asking all depends on what kind of shape you’re in right now and how much you want to actually lose. If you’re already active and semi fit then toning up is all you probably want to do. Eat foods high in whole grains, have a lot of vegetables and fruits and drink a lot of water. Work out 3 – 4 times a week with light weights and high repetitions.

      If you are a more on the over weight side then there are several things you will need to do if you want to lose weight in such a short period of time. To be honest a lot of the weight you do lose will only be water but you won’t feel and look as bloated.

      Week One: do a detox. Week Two: eat a lot of vegetables, fruits, have meals high in protein, complex carbs and drink a lot of water. Then do weights at least 4 times that week. Using light weights with high repetitions and make sure to have short rest times between sets to get your heart rate up and get you sweating more.

      Eat 5 meals a day for the whole week. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner should consist of 60% protein, 30% complex carbohydrates and 10% Healthy Fats. Portions should be no larger you’re your clenched fist. Mid morning & Afternoon snack can consist of fruits, vegetables, almonds or a meal replacement shake. Examples of great proteins: grilled chicken breast, Tuna in water, salmon. Example of complex carbohydrates: brown rice, sweet potatoes (yams) and oatmeal. Have a serving of vegetables with both lunch and dinner meals.

      Drink 1 glass of water before your three major meals, get at least 8 hours of sleep every night for the 2 weeks. Eat every meal nice and slow to digest your food properly. Do not eat 2 hours before bedtime. Do not eat any junk food, like chips, sweets that are high in refined sugar and carbohydrates.

      Do this and it will help you lose a little bit of weight and add exercise to the mix, it should help you to get a little more toned for your trip.

      Your diet sounds quite reasonable, but losing more than 2 pounds a week might very well adversly affect your health.

      If you follow a healthy diet and exercise - then 5 pounds a week. When losing weight, you should really look into quality of how you do it, so that results stick. Losing weight fast means gaining it back even faster. Losing weight right means you won't gain back much at all.
      Follow my advice and depending on your height, you should be able to lose all of the wight you want to lose.
      Now, eat vegetables (cooked and raw) and fruits, absolutely no sugar or anything that contains it, absolutely no junk food. Reduce your starches. Reduce rice, wheat and potato consumption. Really do try to stick to veggies and vegan foods. Try to reduce things that contain fat: cheese, milk, dairy or creams. I would suggest no more than 1000 calories a day, since you're pretty tiny, that's a good limit. Very maximum - 1200.
      Drink green tea and eat some lemons to help your body burn fat (of course, I don't mean a lemon a day, more like 2 slices a day). It's possible to lose about 10 pounds each month, at least!
      Oh and another one - how is your metabolism? You should be able to go to the bathroom (poop) once a day for sure! If you don't - laxatives, do NOT take more than is suggested on the bottle, in fact, one table-spoon is perfectly fine.
      Now, exercise-wise - running and I would suggest lots of it. If you feel tired - run some more. And of course do weights and stretching (i.e. yoga). Exercise every single day, at least an hour each day. Make it intense and fast, while drinking lots of water, as much as you want - there's no limit. Just make sure it's not too little. (I usually go through 2 bottles).
      And that's it, really. Make sure to get proper sleep.
      The most important thing for you is to lose fat and you don't mind some muscle, right?
      Don't worry, you can't be like a body builder.
