Learn The Fast Way To Lose Weight

Lose Fat

With the American public currently having an epidemic of obesity rate of about sixty million individuals, and with females especially affected, many people are desperately seeking a solution to this problem. There are a variety of solutions though, including the tried and true diet industry that is ready and willing to help with the problem. However, many people have tried and failed at numerous plans and programs and are ready to “throw in the towel”. In this short article I hope to offer a different solution that might be something everyone could give a try.

Begin by seeing your doctor and determine if you are fit for a weight loss and exercise program.

It is a well known fact that diet changes alone will not help much. It has been recently determined by health experts that women have to exercise 6 days a week for one hour a day to just keep from gaining weight. And I mean by walking or using an elliptical machine for an hour a day. According to an article by Nanci Hellmich, of USA Today “Normal-weight women who want to prevent weight gain as they age need to do an hour a day of moderate-intensity physical activity such as brisk walking, …” see USA Today Walking: An hour a day keeps the weight away 3/23/2010

Now for the Tips:

1. Begin a walking program right away. Get a good pair of shoes and start walking. You may want to add a pair of hand weights too.

2. Make a commitment to change your diet. Begin a fat burning diet program. What is this you ask? A fat burning diet is a diet that consists of higher protein intake and low fat intake while taking in more complex carbohydrates.Do some detailed research into this type of program and then stick to it. Fat loss is the idea behind this.

3. Enroll in a gym to get the maximum benefits of a weight training program. If you can’t afford a gym, go to the internet or a bookstore and get some information on using free weights at home.

This is very easy to do and the rewards are significant for weight loss and fat loss.

4. Make a daily commitment to yourself that this is a LIFESTYLE CHANGE you are making, not a simple temporary change. From this point forward you are a…fat burning machine, a person who eats to burn fat, who exercises to build muscle and who walks to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight. You can never go back to the other way of living. This is the new you.

This is perhaps the hardest part that many of us face. We may want to change, but the road gets…well, sloggy. People sabotage us, family may say they are supportive, but are they really? Life happens and we fall off of the wagon. But we can’t let that stop us. We have to just dust ourselves off and get back on the horse and go at it again. Don’t be afraid to speak up when someone says something to you that indicates they don’t think you can do it. Just tell them “thank you for sharing but you are going to exercise anyway”. Keep at it. It will get easier and in the end, when you reach your goal, you will have built a set of habits and routines that you can be proud of and you will never fall off of again.

I am sure you know the Governator of California. That man has been a weight lifter all of his life and now look at him. He has never veered from his habits. I’ve got to hand it to him, he has really been a renascence man. If Arnold can do it, I think anyone can, it just takes self commitment and giving ourselves a will of iron. We give that to ourselves. Give it to yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
    lose fat??
does anyone know a good workout plan for a 13 year old guy to lose fat from the belly, sides of belly, and legs. i would also like a good diet with mixed days(some days meat and some days no meat). maybe a range of timings too because i heard to eat smaller meals and more meals. PLEASE HELP! I would like to be skinny by next year or ASAP PLEASE!
i saw this somewhere in yahoo answers and am wondering if it really works:

"here is a way to lose tummy fat,,its cheap and easy,,and safe,,
try this,,my wife and a friend of hers do this and they lose the belly area quick---but u need to walk or jog,,,take plastic food wrap,,wrap around ur belly,,about 2 to 3 x"s...not tight,,let ur blood flow...then walk for about an hour 3x's a week..
When u take the plastic wrap off,,,sweat will boil out of ur skin,,do this 3 x s,,then weigh ur self,,my wife pants are not tight on her stomach and they fit loose now.Good luck
    and drink plenty of water"

    • ANSWER:
I wouldn;t think that would work properly. When you sweat you lose water, not fat. You may drop pounds but you will gain it back 20 times faster.

When you eat, half of you plate should be veggies, one quarter should be meat/protein, and one quarter should be carbohydrates (bread, pasta, potatoes etc.)

Read the ingredient label. If you can't read something you probably shouldn't be eating it.

Drink plenty of water (8 glasses a day). Avoid high calorie and sugar drinks such as soda.

As for working out, do you have a local YMCA? or something like that. A membership to a place like that is usually fairly inexpensive and you have access to all of their facilities (work out center included). If not, my favourite ways to excersise are jogging, bike rididng, roller blading, walking, dancing, and sports like tennis and volleyball (or hockey and basketball if you prefer.)

Try to work out at least 30 mins a day aside from school physical education. Switch it up a bit and make sure you res at least one day a week.

      TIPS:

-Cheat on food ONE day a week. Eat whatever you have been craving that week. She the timer for half an hour and just eat. (as long as you havent cheated earlier in the week)

-If you crave it, you probably shouldnt eat it.

-Eat stuff in moderation, if you deny yourself something you want it more.

-Rest your body one day a week.

      - Switch it up. Instead of jumping jacks and sit ups one day try bike riding or rollerblading, its fun and a workout.

Good luck with your weight loss!

      ;)

I have a friend who wants to lose some fat, especially in her legs but she is a paraplegic (paralyzed from the waist down). How can she lose the fat when she can even move her legs without surgery to remove the fat?

    • ANSWER:
You can't target where you want to lose fat. She could try reducing her intake of calories to lose weight overall, and that may reduce the fat on her legs. Can a physical therapist move her legs in some form of exercise so the muscles don't atrophy and her legs tone up? I'm not sure how that works with paraplegics.

  10. QUESTION:
How to lose fat and build muscles at the same time?
I am 16n1/2,overweight(BMI:29,165lbs).I need to lose fat immediately. Can I build some biceps simultaneously?I have a disproportionate fat distribution.I have a really big belly and thighs. While my arms are small and thin. What are some good exercises for that?I want to lose it asap coz I am having lots of problems. Also,I am following a strict diet.

    • ANSWER:
I am doing the same thing, you just have to exercise and eat right. If you want to build muscle, then don't just do biceps, you have to work on other parts. For thighs, one of the best exercises is doing wall sits. This is where you put your butt up against the wall and act like you are sitting on a chair, while staying at a 90° angle. Keep your arms crossed and do not use them to apply pressure to your knees.
For losing weight, you need to do cardiovascular exercises, the best would be running or at least walking. Biking is okay too, but biking 16 miles still isn't as good as walking 5. This will burn fat, and you don't even lose enough muscle for it to be noticeable, so it will barely effect your strength.
So yes, you can build muscle simultaneously as long as you are also lifting weights

  11. QUESTION:
How to lose weight and fat without gaining muscle?
I've gained nearly 8 pounds over just a couple of months, and I would like to lose it again. Is there any diet or exercise that I can do to lose all of it over a month's time? If it is an exercise, I just want to lose fat, but not gain muscle in it's place, is that possible? Also, my target area is my arms where there is the most fat.
Also, I would prefer any exercise that can be done at home in short periods of time, multiple times.

    • ANSWER:

Its strange to know that you dont want to gain muscle. If you start exercising, you will always put on a bit of muscle. It will only help you in your goald to lose weight.

      here's what you can do

      1. Based on your age, figure out your Basic Metabolic Rate- you can do this easily online.

      2. Your goal must be to aim for 500-750 (not more) calorie deficit each day through a combination of a good healthy diet and exercise

      3. Eat your breakfast. Research shows that breakfast eaters lose more weight than those who do not.

      4. Eat 4 -5 meals spaced out at intervals of 3-4 hours each day. This keeps your metabolism chugging well throughout the day.

      5. Once every week, do a high calorie or a high carb day. Give into your cravings, have that pizza slice. just to give your body a break from the dieting and help you to stay on the wagon.

      6. Exercise is must, if you want to keep the weight off and not just be subject to the yo yo diet syndrome. Cardio and Weight training - both forms of exercise must be included.

      7. What you can do at home at bodyweight compound exercises as well as cardio style workouts. Some examples are squats, pushups, lunges, burpees, skipping, pullups chinups, spiderman pushups. Just scour the web for bodyweight exercises and you will surely get a lot more. Even better get some basic weights - a pair of dumbbells to start off and you can increase the number of exercises manifold.

The gut/arms/thighs are just a storage area. The concept of spot reduction is a myth. Our simple goal is to put our body in an energy deficit, through diet and exercise, so that our body will then have to dig into its reserves. That's the gut, the hips, the legs, arms.

Again here, dont overdo the diet and skip the exercise. Our bodies are very smart. If they dont get enough food- presuming you go on a very low cal diet, our body tends to think that we are starving. Our metabolism goes down, the body then trys to hang on for dear life to the fat in our body. The exact opposite of what we aim for.

So eat well. Exercise well. Stay committed and you will melt that fat away.

      Cheers!

  12. QUESTION:
How to lose fat on thighs and legs without gaining muscle?
I think I need to lose fat on my thighs and legs I've tried lots of things to lose fat there like squats, jump rope, running/jog, leg lifts but it makes my legs muscly but stay large
ps: I've tried diets and they don't work and give me good answers

    • ANSWER:
You can target tone your legs by doing leg lifts and a lot of reps with only a little weight. However, to lose fat you need to lose fat over your whole body. So you'd need a good cardio routine, a workout to target your lower body (such as yoga) and a good diet.

  13. QUESTION:
How can i lose fat without losing weight?
I am about 5'8" 150 pounds and i play football. I am pretty fit and skinny but i have some unwanted fat. I need to know a way to lose the fat but not lose weight.

    • ANSWER:
wow, isn't it amazing how people don't read??

First of all, I understand what you mean about not wanting to weigh any less. so basically, you want to build up muscle. doing activities that build up muscle rather than more arobic activities.

When people begin losing weight, and they lose a lot of weight in a short period of time - how much of it is usually water weight? Like, how much water weight can you lose before you start losing the fat? I have been dieting and working out, and lost 10 lb this past 2 weeks - but I am pretty sure almost all of that is water weight. Is it possible to lose 10 lb of just water? I am 5'1 and weighed 142 lb when I started.

  15. QUESTION:
What is the best way to lose fat on your legs and thighs and calves fir them to look smaller?
My friend is overweight and is trying to lose weight and she works out a lot. She runs, plays basketball, uses the bicycle and basically works out all day. Every other part of her body is losing weight except for her legs. She feels like her legs fat is turning into muscle and she hates it. She wants to know if she loses enough weight, it will automatically go away and what exercises she should do to lose it.

    • ANSWER:
Everyone loses weight differently. Her legs probably will be the last place to lose the weight. You say she's working out a lot. What kind of rigor? Can she run 3 miles straight?

If she want to lose weight she needs to consume less calories than she burns, work out 3 - 4 times a week and lift weights. 12 - 15 reps for lean muscles.

For making sure you're running correctly, I always advise that you time yourself for 3 miles, on each mile. Reduce each mile by 30 seconds and work at that.

Also, eat lots of protein and good carbs. Cut back on sweets. You can still eat them, but you need to use moderation.

I've been walking and jogging a little everyday (30-60mins)
I've been doing ab workouts and push ups to build muscle
    I've been eating healthy foods
In the past month I've noticed I was just losing more weight than belly fat

How do I lose fat from my belly? What exercises can I do?
What exercises help slim down your thighs?

    • ANSWER:
If you want to lose weight in your belly you have lose it throughout. “The best way to lose the fat in the stomach area is by proper diet and exercise.

      STOP DOING THESE-

» Since you now know that drinking and not eating on time increases the chances of getting a pot belly stop doing these.
» Stop binging on fibre free, refined flours and the foods such as white bread, pasta, donuts, cakes and biscuits. They lead to bloating, poor digestion, and causes accumulation of fat.
» Try not to have late night snacks: The main problem with late night snacking is that there is not much activity done afterwards. People go straight to bed right after the late night meal because they are tired. So, this will cause high sugar levels in the blood stream and no energy spent after that. The excess sugar will just turn into fat.

      EAT THESE –

» While you give up on the bad carbohydrates, continue having the good carbs in the form of Fruits, vegetables.
» Increasing the fibre intake also helps in absorbing the fat that you eat. So choose wholegrain foods in place of refined ones. It also plays changes the glucose and insulin response and makes it easier to mobilize fat stores.
» “Remember to eat small frequent meals i.e. break down your meals from 3 square meal to 5-6 meals in a day” advices Anjum.

      AND DO THESE-

We have all heard that sit-ups and crutches help you lose weight in the abdomen but it actually only ends up strengthening the abdomen muscles. Spot training won’t banish the fat, so isolating belly as an area to lose weight will not work.
Weight training- It is the best way lose the belly fat. Muscles burn more calories than fat so using weights helps to do that.
Aerobic exercises- there are the other exercises like jogging, swimming, dancing and sports like tennis which gives the body an overall workout and ensure that you don’t get that ‘extra tyre’ around your waist.

  21. QUESTION:
What are some effective ways to lose fat, not weight?
I need some effective ways to lose like body fat, specifically stomach fat but don't want to lose weight(like muscle). I mean it's okay if I lose a little but I know there are some forms of exercise that will lose fat while keeping muscle. What are they?

    • ANSWER:
Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we've known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.

Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.

Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can't get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy.

Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don't. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies.

Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day.

Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.

Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body.

Vary your routines. Don't eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn't adjust to any one routine.

An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.

I always find the best way for me to lose weight is just to start walking a lot more. Just add 30 mins to an hour of walking a few times a week and you will see it fall off pretty fast. I see my unwanted weight gain go fast and since you are male yours will go much faster. It is a great way to loose the weight but not add muscle. If you find you want to start to add muscle tone later on you can always add something more later on:-) Best of luck to you!

    • ANSWER:
I am not a doctor, so please, ask a doctor about it as well, as I'm not a hundred percent sure!

It's a common mistake to assume that exercising automatically makes you lose fat. It does not. While it does make your muscles consume more calories (I'm not exactly sure), it doesn't make you lose fat in the first place. What happens is that if you need more calories than you consumed, you will take them from your fat-reserves, but not at all where you exercise! Where your fat goes first and where it gets taken from first differs from human to human. So, I cannot tell you how to exercise, all I can tell you is to lose weight, your body must require more calories than you consume, so that your body takes it from the fat-reserves.
This is the way I lost my weight, I assume. I'm quite good with biology and such, so I'd wager it's right. But like I said, please ask your doctor as well, as he can surely tell you.

  29. QUESTION:
How can i lose fat without losing muscle?
I lift weights and stuff so i dont want to lose my muscle while running and stuff. How i can i lose fat, but keep my muscle/ gain more muscle at same time?

    • ANSWER:
Not with Acai Berry. lol. It is all a matter of nitrogen balance. Nitrogen balance is an indicator of muscular anabolism. A positive nitrogen balance means that you are in an anabolic state (building muscle), while a negative nitrogen balance means that you are in a catabolic state (breaking down tissue). Protein is made up of Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and of course Nitrogen. Dietary protein intake is what influences nitrogen balance. Regular protein intake = positive balance = anabolism. So, maintaining your current workout plan will be fine, just make sure that your protein intake is adequate enough to maintain anabolism. This is estimated to be about 1.2 g of protein per kg of bodyweight daily. Increasing dietary complex carbohydrate helps as well. It provides an abundance of quality fuel, therefore skeletal muscle protein breakdown will be minimized for metabolic purposes.

I don't really know about running but if you want to lose fat then you should run and also start weight lifting. Muscle burns fat the fastest so if you balance that and running then you should be fine. You should also try to avoid fatty foods and eat often but not in large amounts. So eat about every 2-3 hours, run, lift weights and you should be good.

  38. QUESTION:
What is the best way to lose fat around my waist?
I am having the hardest time losing fat where i need to lose it most! I have a bit of a pudge and a mad muffin top going on. I have been eating less starchy foods and more fruits and vegetables and am trying to swim for an hour at least 5 times a day. Does anyone know some good love handle work outs? And any other suggestions?

    • ANSWER:
Everyone has a problem spot. It can be around the stomach, thighs, arms or chest. No matter where your trouble spot is, the solution is exactly the same. You need to eat less and exercise more. The reason why there's only one solution for all of these problems is because it's impossible to tell your body where to burn the excess fat from.

When you eat too many calories, your body stores the excess energy as fat in different areas around the body. To lose this fat, you need to create a calorie deficit (eat less than you burn) to force your body to start burning that fat for energy. There is absolutely no way to control where your body goes to find this extra fat.

The larger your calorie deficit (a bigger calorie deficit means a bigger difference between what you eat and what you burn) the faster your body will burn excess fat and the quicker your body fat percentage will start to decrease. You can increase your calorie deficit by cutting your daily intake and exercising more. Sit ups will do nothing to target the fat around your abs just like squats will do nothing to target the fat around your thighs. You can read more about fixing your trouble spots at the Guide to Reducing Body Fat - http://straighthealth.com/pages/guides/reducebodyfat.html

  39. QUESTION:
How much cardio is needed to lose fat and gain muscle?
My BMI is 25. So to gain muscle and lose fat (I want to be at BMI range 18.5-24.9 ), how much cardio should I ideally do and for how long? I usually do 10 min of jogging, but I'm not sure if this will affect gaining muscle or losing fat.
So I do weigtlifting to gain muscle and cardio (for about 10) to lose fat.

    • ANSWER:
25 BMI is close to obese, isn't it? I could be mistaken. Either way, it's time for a change. Here's a 6 day workout routine for you. Mon, wed, Fri. Lift for 30-45 minutes, alternating upper and lower body each different day. after that, jog as many laps around the gym as you can. bring a stop watch. then finish the rest of the time on an eliptical machine, until you reach 30 minutes total. Summary: 30-45 lifting, 30 minutes of cardio

Tues, thurs. sat. walk on a treadmill at 3.5 mph and a 0.5% incline. this will cause more calorie burning.

      Sundays: play video games.

follow this and you will shed the pounds.

  40. QUESTION:
What is the best way to lose fat while still doing muscle building?
I have been taking a weight training class(muscle building) but I wanted to also know the best way to lose some body fat other than diets. Any exercises would work. I also wanted to know if when building muscle over fat, you just get bigger? I have gained about 8lbs of muscle in a little while and I just look bigger, not more fit. Any help would be appreciated.

    • ANSWER:
You are right. Your muscles are getting bigger but still covered with fat, so it only looks bigger, not fitter.

The only way to burn fat is cardio. Here is a good plan for a bodybuilder:

      3 days a week
      30-45 mins a day
Make it intense enough so it would be a bit hard to speak while breathing. If you are out of breath then you are overdoing it.

Cardio also burns muscles if you are not training them. So don't worry about losing muscles :)

      Cheers :)

  41. QUESTION:
How do you lose fat in your face?
How do you lose the fat in your face. Im skinny bout 130 pounds but muscular at age 16 bout 5'6 or 5'7 and have a sorta chubby face. I would love to lose that and get a skinnier face look but how?

    • ANSWER:
that sounds like what people refer to as 'baby fat' at your age, and it will probably disappear as you mature and hormones change. there is no way to really lose fat in one area, you lose weight all over when you are in a calorie deficit (using more calories than you eat) and when you don't have any stored anywhere else, your face will get thinner, too...but are you sure it is fat? puffiness can be from water retention...consuming too much sodium, not drinking enough fluids are things that can cause this.

  42. QUESTION:
How do I lose fat in my legs without making my muscles huge?
I run mostly because i want my legs to get thinner, I literally want them to be very thin, they are not huge or anything just normal but the more I run the more my muscle seems to grow and they look even bigger. Is there any way to get my legs to be very thin, but not lose muscle in an unhealthy way? Or should I keep running ...I have no idea? Plus I obviousy want to lose the fat in my legs too.

    • ANSWER:
Years ago while in China, I dislocated my knee and had it plastered for about 10 weeks while I toured during summer. That leg was completely amaciated by the time I got home... I suppose that is what you want yours to look like.. but I can tell you.. I couldn't walk for ages... the muscles are there for a purpose.

Keep Running. Althletes have a hard time maintaining muscle mass because once the fat is depleted through rigourous training the muscles are all that is left to draw energy from and they soon deplete too. It is a difficult balance between training to gain strength and loss of strength due to lack of available fat to burn for energy.

You could also do squats, cycle and lunges. Vixen is right.. you must stretch... it helps "iron out" the muscle.

  43. QUESTION:
What are the best exercises to do to lose fat around your midsection?
With grad school and full-time work, I have let myself go a little and have started turning into a "fat sack of fat". Since school has ended for the semester, I have started working out at the gym (approx 2 hrs/day) and riding my road bike (18 - 25 miles). What are some other exercises I can do to lose "love handles" and a little belly I have gained in the past few months.

I am giving myself a 2 month time frame which I think is realistic for losing about 10 lbs.

Any help or exercises you know of would be a huge help!!
Oh, I'm not sure if this matters for specific exercises, but I've also cleaned up my diet. I'm mostly vegetarian, but eat chicken and take creatine and protein supplements as well as multivitamins.

What supplements work well to lose fat and build muscle?
I have been 155 for 2 months now and I can't lose this gut. I've been hitting the gym every day switching between lifting weights one day and cardio the next again and again. Am I doing something wrong? A friend said I should try OxyElite. Are there any better fat burners out there?

    • ANSWER:
      Supplements won't help you.

That area of the body is often the hardest to lose. Are you working out your whole body or just that area or both? YOu should be doing both.

As far as exercises to do...side planks, working your core is the way to go. Typical crunches and sit ups will only hurt your back and neck. Look to Pilates and yoga to build the core muscles.

So basically here are some tips to speed up your metabolism: Drink 1-3 glasses of green tea a day
Try and eat Chilli peppers somehow, ((chilli DUH )) they help.
8 classes of water a day

the more active you are, the faster your metabolism will grow to be.

And SLEEP is very important, try to go to sleep on time and get your ages average amount of sleep,. ask your doctor what a healthy weight for you is, and then after you have reached that goal do sit ups and crutches - among many other core excersises, Run to slim out, and make sure you burn more calories than you eat - had to repeat that!

Fruits and veggies are REALLY low in calories and FULL of nutrition. If you like Tacos? Ditch the hard shell, maybe try a taco salad.. without the shell of course! Lettuce with meat is good, but PLEASE try mixing it with turkey and beef so that it isnt all fat. Chicken salad is good, you want the protein but you dont want fried anything really, once in a while if fine but remember - YOU HAVE TO BURN OFF THOSE EXTRA CALORIES. Excersises excersise excersise. Dont over do it - dont starve yourself, be moderate and stay active. GOOGLE: 100 ways to burn 100 calories, their are some pretty cool things you can do!

Stay away from starchy and high carb foods - mostly white things. Bread is a bad, so try to stick to thin, HIGH in fiber, slices :)
