      2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).

      I've been working with a trainer trying to do this for about 3 months now. It is very hard to lose fat while building muscle. There is only 1 way to lose weight and that is to burn more calories than you eat. They call this a caloric deficit. Your friend should try to lose about 2-3 lbs of fat a week which is what I'm told is the most that can be safely lost and kept off without losing lots of muscle at the same time... As for the abs he just needs to get his % body fat down to a level that will let them show. Males usually need to hit single digit bodyfat percentage to see defined ab muscles. Depending on your genetics, they might show up at 12%...but for others it might not be until 8%.

      for women it is higher, as women naturally carry more body fat. Off the top of my head, I think its like 12% or so when they should see abs.

      Also bear in mind that some poeple just do not have genetically large ab muscles, and won't ever have a wicked six-pack.

      I suggest what I did!
      Start making your own meals. Baked chicken and steamed fish are easy and not messy to make. Also trow some veggies in a pan with 2 cups of water and boil them then just let me brown up in the pan a bit and you can also add a little lemon juice or pepper to eat!
      Try to maybe eat 2 times a day. Around 10am and 5pm.
      Stick to fruits for stacks! Veggies get boring!
      And have some fruit yogurt around too.
      Dried cranberries are Awsome too.
      Walk about an hour a day.
      It's been about 1 month for me and I dropped 5 pounds. It takes a while but it's healthy and long term!

      Just mke sure you throw up away from people so they don't hear and suspect-put toilet roll at the bottom of the toilet so you can't hear or turn the shower on.       Honestly, weight watchers worked really well for me. I lost 15 lbs in 1.5 months. This isn't a plug or anythings. Also as a snack i have an ounce of cheese and red grapes/apple. Also, if you're into it, i make my own honey mustard and mix it with some chicken and lettuc. Just dijon and some honey. You can make as spicy, salty and/or sweet as you like so you can get whatever flavor you're going for. To stay cool in the summer I make crystal light popsicles. The orange has been really flavorful, just add a cup less water. You'd be surprised how many calories are in bread, which is why I buy the weight watchers stuff. Spray butter is pretty tasty in my opinion too, which you can put on anything including popcorn (which is really good for you plain!) Anything you fry just use pam, and instead of eggs use egg whites (which are also really good for you and really filling with lost of protein!)       what you may want to do, is increase your reps and sets in every exercise your doing now. what you want to increase is your muscle mass, thus decreasing the fatty tissues around the nipple and breast area and around the chest. you'll need to set a routine at the gym where before you would, lets say, do 4 sets of 5 reps. with a bench weight of 125lbs. now your going to have to increase the reps. while maintaining the same amount of sets, BUT,also increase the weight slightly, not too extreme. the point here again, is to increase muscle mass and decrease fat. try this and see what happens in or around 8 weeks. measure yourself also, not just weight yourself. good luck.

      Basic Diet Consists of 3-4 days of eating the following foods at each meal (4-5 meals/day):
      4-5 oz of fish, chicken, lean beef, turkey
      4 cups of veggies of these types (broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, brussell’s sprouts, collard greens, spinach) - these are usually frozen and I measure out 4 cups total of any combination of them
      1 tablespoon olive oil
      seasonings to taste (salt, pepper, hot sauce, soy sauce - anything without calories). No need to limit salt intake here if you like to salt your foods.

      Supplements consist primarily of:
      Specially formulated blend of Antioxidants

      This means if you want to get to a significantly good shape, you DON’T have to give up your favorite junk foods. In fact, you should PLAN THEM into your diet every 3-4 days. If you don’t, then you WON’T get the results you’re after — TRUST ME!

      Then, when and IF… your progress stagnates should you then do the restrictions I mentioned I’ll be doing over the next 3 weeks.
