      yes i tried the soft gel green tea extract ( healthy options and another american brand ). anything that claims about losing weight is not promising unless you combine workouts and healthy eating. I lost 15lbs in 2months but i do not say the greentea is responsible for the weight lose. I used it to compliment my weight lose program only but i didn't relay on it completely. There are no miracle weight lose pills invented yet as there are no short cuts to a leaner, heanlthier body. Just save your money for now, start working out, eat healthy the when you start losing the 1st couple of lbs, combine the green tea supplement. Good luck!

    So I just bought MEGA-T Green Tea Weight Loss Packets with the pills also (it was a combo). Has anyone tried this for weight loss? Does it give good results?

      You sound like your doing all of the right things as far as your diet goes.Green tea is effective but you can get the results just drinking regular green tea.It's full of antioxidants and it's a natural diuretic in addition.To burn more calories I suggest riding a stationary bike if it's available to you.Make sure that your eating chicken,fish and pork,always bake or broil when you prepare your food instead of frying.Eat whole grain bread and be sure to eat fresh fruits and vegetables.Hope this helps,good luck!

      green tea is healthier, pg tips is just normal tea that doesn't aid weight loss, especially if you put sugar in it along with full fat milk. However i'm on a diet at the moment, and ive been drinking pg tips because it doesn't make a difference really as long as the stuff you eat is just generally healthy. We also drink chai tea, assam tea which is like pg tips and lemon and ginger tea which are all twinings. My mum prefers to drink them with no sugar and just a splash of milk so in a way is more healthier.

      I go to walmart and get bottles of these green tea pills. Their made by Mega-T, their like where i live but i think it depends on where your from on the price. Anyway, like you said they are all natural but its mandatory for companies to put it on their bottles because its a dietary supplement. Green tea is good for your matabolism (sp) so it speeds it up and gets it working. The only thing the pills really do other then that is curb your appetite. But you must drink 8 oz of water with each pill as stated on the bottle. Im under 18 too (17) and their perfectly safe and do the trick!

      Here's some weight loss tip's I have picked up over the years:

      - Exercise 6 to 7 days a week.

      - And try to break your workout into two different sessions, this gives your metabolism a jolt.

      - Drink 10 to 12 cups of water a day. And try to drink ice cold water, it burns more calories.

      - Take enough vitamins, especially ones that promote weight loss (such as 1800 mg. of Fish Oil, Vitamin B Complex, Co-enzyme Q-10, ect. Do your research).

      - Drink green tea or take green tea pills ( it's been shown to speed up your metabolism).

      - For your metabolism's sake, eat within 1 hour of waking up and don't eat 3 hours before you go to bed.

      - Try a vegan or vegetarian diet (it worked for me :D ).

      - Drink 12 oz. of warm lemon water (use the juice of 1/2 a lemon) with a little sea salt every morning. This will detoxify your body and make your skin look amazing.

      - Or, if giving up meat just isn't your thing, just count calories. Try to have around 1200 a day.

      - Eat whole grain foods and healthy fats (like olives, avacados, nuts, ect) and stay away from refined or "bad" carbs.

      - Remember to read the labels. They hide so much junk in "healthy diet" foods now a days. My rule of thumb is, if I can't pronounce it, I won't put it in my body. Because you are what you eat.

      - Set small goals (like 5 pounds) and when you reach your goal reward yourself with something (not food).

      depends what you sweeten it with.
      i wouldn't use sugar- its so bad for your skin and teeth and it's 20 calories a teaspoon.
      sweetener is 0.6 calories so wouldn't make a difference to your calorie intake, although most contain aspartame, which is a proven harmful chemical.
      the best sweetner to use is agave nectar (13.6 calories); it's natural, doesn't mess with your blood sugar levels, tastes lovely and shouldn't make a difference to your calorie intake so could help weightloss.

      i think you should rather than eating at dinner, you should eat at lunch, because before lunch and after lunch, you get alot of exercise, and stuff, eating at the dinner is proberbly the WORST thing you can do, because you REST shortly after dinner,
