4-5 oz of fish, chicken, lean beef, turkey
4 cups of veggies of these types (broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, brussell’s sprouts, collard greens, spinach) - these are usually frozen and I measure out 4 cups total of any combination of them
1 tablespoon olive oil
seasonings to taste (salt, pepper, hot sauce, soy sauce - anything without calories). No need to limit salt intake here if you like to salt your foods.Supplements consist primarily of:

Remember what I’ve been eating along the way and still lost all this fat. I’ve done so NOT in spite of what I’ve been eating (important!!!), but a result of WHAT I’ve been eating, INCLUDING all of the junk food. Junk food has ACCELERATED MY FAT LOSS to this point.
This means if you want to get to a significantly good shape, you DON’T have to give up your favorite junk foods. In fact, you should PLAN THEM into your diet every 3-4 days. If you don’t, then you WON’T get the results you’re after — TRUST ME!
Then, when and IF… your progress stagnates should you then do the restrictions I mentioned I’ll be doing over the next 3 weeks.

Bananas, oranges you can eat all you want and not gain weight. but you'll be nourished and energized and not starving. and drink only plain water. running for 30 minutes a day is very beneficial. A gluten free diet is almost always a low carb diet. When you restrict carbs, you deplete the glycogen stores. Glycogen stores hold 3x their weight in water. You probably have just lost the water weight. When you lower carbs, you need to increase your fat consumption. You can deplete fat stores on a low carb diet even with high calories. Carbs greater than 9grams per hour trigger insulin, the only fat storage hormone.I would highly suggest you replace the grains with seeds & nuts.
I have started adding ground flax seed or chia seed to about everything. They are both incredibly nutritious. Chia seeds swell up when soaked and remind me of tapioca with a strawberry seed inside. I think they are much more nutritious raw and add them to salads & tuna salad as well as making faux tapioca regularly. I also add them to cooked food for bulk but prefer to use flax seed for cooked food. Flax seed has a slight taste to it but chia seed is tasteless so it doesn't change the flavor of foods the way flax seed would. I also would never consider eating flax seed raw. In Mexico, they add chia seed to lemonade and call it chia fresca and it is addicting. I was getting 400% of my daily requirement of fiber by drinking this and have to regulate my intake, but it does making drinking fun.
Chia seeds sound so expensive but 1# will make 10# food - Amazon.com has couple lbs. for shipped to you. I buy in bulk (24#) from getchia.com for # with free shipping.

Well i would say high intensity, eg running, x trainer etc. I find that the machines tone u up but it takes time, where as when I do running I lose more pounds quicker. I am 9 stone and train up to 6x a week, I find I never gain weight, because running is a great way to keep the weight down. Hope this is a help.

Zumba (my computer hates that word) will work just like any other exercise program if you stick to it and eat right. Zumba has a reputation of being easier to stick to because its a fun way to work out.Personally. I lost 50lbs in (220ish to 175) in 2 years by cutting out compound sugars, high fructose corn sugar and other extremely unhealthy preservatives and took a more natural approach. It wasn't easy to always stick to cause I get cravings still to this day. But it was easier than i thought. And best of all no exorcise. lol

I do lots of researching, and I read that if you drink lots of WATER and then let a little sea salt dissolve on your tongue, (Because if you just drink that much water and use no salt, all you'll do is use the bathroom too much, and lose some of the stuff that's good for you, salt makes it so that doesn't happen) you will lose weight & feel better.
And, I know you don't want to hear this, but we used to eat like your typical American~ fast food, white flour, lots of sugar, ect., and some members of my family were having problems with weight. : )
We switched to almost no fast foods, (I know.... you think it's impossible) used honey and a whole cane sugar as much as possible, used whole wheat flour,
and the weight problem was almost gone within a month or so. (We did lots of other stuff too, like getting rid of chemicals and dyes in our food) You probably think I'm crazy, but a professional once told me that white sugar is like a drug. I'm afraid I don't know where to download fast dancing music but I just wanted to say you are definitely on the right track!The best exercise for weight loss is interval training - that is intense exercise for a short period of time followed by a rest period. And, if you can incorporate interval training into something you enjoy - like fast dancing - that is awesome!
So, when you find your fast dancing music, I would encourage you to dance really hard until you feel like you cant keep it up, then recover by walking or dancing slowly, and then repeat. Any fast dancing music that you enjoy will work for this. You don't need a special program.
Also you only need about 10 minutes a day of this kind of exercise to facilitate weight loss. (By the way interval training is also the best way to improve cardiovascular health)

Lets see... a) it doesn't sound to me like you're over weight. b) it is unhealthy, you might not think you care but you should! c) eating too few calories will destroy your metabolism and result in it being harder for you to loose weight (and may result in you gaining weight over time since I'm sure you don't intend to eat an all yogurt diet forever)If your worried about your weight you should talk to your family doctor.

I'm not overweight/fat, and when I went to the doctors he said I was the perfect weight for my height/age. But I want to lose a bit of weight, so that I feel a bit better for my self. You know?And I am quite fit, I just want to get fitter. Well yes. I already play indoor soccer, and soccer at my school. I walk home, and I am quite active, at night I even do 100+ sit-ups if I feel in the mood (this is not so much for weight loss, more for fitness). None of this has worked, any better idea's?

My friends amazing weight loss (80lbs in 4 months) is her plan viable?
My friend recently lost a lot of weight like about 80lbs in like 16 weeks losing about 5lbs a week. She is 31 and 5 foot 5 inches tall and started at 220lbs and went down to 140lbs she hope to lose another 5lbs and then just focus on maintenance and toning. I have seen her in her under ware and apart from a couple of tiny stretch marks on her tummy she looks great no loose skin etc.
When I asked her how she did it she sent me this (Cut and paste from her email to me):
My weight loss plan was real simple. I'm a vegetarian but before I ate a lot of ready meals and was always hungry so snacked on sweets and pastries, cheese and fizzy drinks to keep going etc. I changed my diet so that I ate all home cooked food, all fresh veggies, fruit, home baked wholemeal bead, brown rice, lentils, yogurt etc I had lot's of salads and indian dahls etc and supplemented my diet with a good quality multivitamin and the odd protein shake to help with muscle repair. I drank lot's of water and green tea. My total calories averaged about 1800 a day. I had trouble eating it all sometimes as it seemed so much!
As for working out I did about an hour to an hour and a half of cardio everyday 6 days a week (which is a lot considering I was total couch potato before, but I love it now) mixing it up to keep my body guessing so one day I'd do interval training and the next day I'd do a long moderate intensity walk on the treadmill at an incline. When I got fitter I did spinning classes, which were tough but made a big diffrence. I also did resistance training with free weights three times a week about 30 minutes each time. I made sure I got lot's of sleep and had a rest day every week. I tend to put on muscle quickly so I think that really helped me to drop the weight fast so resistance training is not optional.
I used the Sauna at the gym a couple of times a weel as well, which I think helped and had a course of 3 full body wraps to help inch loss and skin tighening as well as using body brushing and self massage with oils every day to keep my skin nice.

Now I need to lose weight as well but it just seems unrealistic to me that she lost 80lbs in four months doing just the above and she has no lose sagging skin, even her boobs look nice. It's possible. When you are that heavy - the weight tends to drop off quite quickly at the beginning.You can do it if you really put the effort in. The exercise is the most important. If you just diet then you probably will get stretchmarks and sagging skin. You need to try and keep everything tight.
