      Use a simple free online calorie counter like the MyPlate feature on http://www.livestrong.com . (My favorite one.) Sparkpeople.com is another popular one. It will help you figure out how many calories you personally need to eat each day in order to reach your weight goals.

      Don't forget that if you're reducing your calories to a weight-loss level, you have to eat more on days you exercise. Otherwise, you'll put undue stress on your body, asking it to do too much on too little fuel, and you'll likely hang on to extra fat as a result.

      Well, there isn't really such a thing as super fast and easy weight loss. But I can give you some tips.

      Regardless of whether you can exercise or not, you need to eat super clean. Start your day with a mixed salad. Have 60-70% of its volume be leafy green vegetables such as green lettuce, mustard/ collard greens, etc. Have the rest of the volume be colorful vegetables such as bell peppers, carrots, cherry tomatoes. You can also throw in celery, parsley if you like. Don't use dressing-use a variety of spices. Expand your spice rack to include black pepper, cumin, chili powder, whatever you like. You can also use garlic and jalapenos to spice it. Some lean turkey/chicken and almonds will provide you with some protein.

      Drink only water and green tea, and drink 2+ liters of water a day. 4-5 cups of green tea will help also.

      You want to eat 4-5 small meals a day instead of 3 or fewer large ones. For lunch, eat some kind of soup based on either vegetables or a lean meat (chicken, turkey, fish). If you want, mix it up and have some brown rice, or buckwheat. Make sure you are getting a LOT of fiber as well-one of the best sources is Fiber One cereal, and you can eat it dry if you want. I prefer the Fiber One Fiber clusters with 57% of fiber per serving. Eat a cup of this a day, and have a lot of water/green tea with it.

      Avoid all junk food, period. No exceptions. The only simple carbs you get should come from the occasional fruit. Eat 2-3 fruit servings a day. Don't worry about vitamin deficiency-if you make awesome salads with colorful fruit, that will most definitely provide the vitamins you need. Nevertheless, invest in a multivitamin. Also take fish oil.

      Mix up your dinners, too, but don't eat very large ones. A simple turkey sandwich will work (use rye bread, it doesn't affect insulin production as much as white). Just stay away from processed foods. Cook some beans, it's generally a good idea.

Do you guys have any idea on how to avoid them? i love them i just quit eating one day and i wasnt hungry for 8 days so i ate nothing and my stomach went pretty flat which made me happy but then my parents commented on me not eating and forced me to eat a platefull of food every meal. I love fruits and vegetables! Brussel sprouts, asparagus, broccoli, all those gross veggies are amazing to me. i eat those and feel great. i feel average when i eat fatty foods. I just cant seem to avoid them when my family goes out to eat and stuff. I go to the gym 3 times a week and work cardio but idk how long it will take for me to lose a little bit of weight and get a flat stomach. any info on how long it should take? i work out atleast an hour and a half or 2 hours so i need to know if i can get a flat tummy by 3 months.

      Tips:

      - Eat a small thing every hour or so. Even just a small rice cracker, keeps metabolism going all day long!

      I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

      Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

      First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...

      This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.

      However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Fill in the blank with the food. Like, pizza crust recipe from scratch, for instance.

      Add a little more exercise each week. Once your body gets used to a routine, it is no longer effective. That is why you must add more exercise each week, be it more resistance, more repetitives, or another lap around the mall before stores open. If you like video games and can afford it, people lost weight off of Wii. I once played it at someone's house, and I kid you not, it wore me out!

      Make sure not to lose more than 2 pounds a week for that is not healthy to lose faster than that.

      Try 6 small meals instead of 3 large ones, and be SURE to eat breakfast.

      Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, a glass being 8 ounces.

      Do away with soda and lattes and other empty calorie drinks.

      You can eat nearly everything you want, as long as you watch out for portions.

      Find healthier ways to enjoy your fave foods.

      Instead of salad dressing, try lemon juice, or salsa.

      With the exception of yellow mustard, watch out for use of condiments. They add up calorie wise. Mustard, however, has practically none in there!

      The best way to make your body utilize fat and burn them is to limit your carb intake while increasing your lean meat intake.
      Remember proteins do not make you gain weight, instead carbs/sugar from snacks/too much fruits/rice/potatoes/etc will make you gain weight thus putting on fat.

      You must burn off the extra calories that you are consuming from mainly carb/sugar products to lose weight.
      And it's not going to be easy to lose weight while not exercising and it is not healthy.

      Also try squeezing lemon in a cup of water in the morning right after waking up and drink it. It will suppress the appetite a bit and increase your metabolism naturally to promote fat burning.

      Keep doing it until you see results.
