      Stop snacking between meals(drink more water), avoid foods that have fat in them (due to cooking methods or as an ingredient(palm OIL) is a fat. Or sugar or additional salt. Potato chips are cooked in oil, as are french fries.
      And be active when you can. Do situps (or cleanup)between commercials while watching TV instead of just sitting there or raiding the fridge. Get off the computer games and get physical.

      Well, i'm probably not gonna be the first one to say this but you probably wont loose 2-3 dress sizes in just 20 days.
      You will probably loose 1-2 pounds a week so basically,
      the most you will loose is 6-8 pounds in 20 days,
      But i'm not gonna waste you're time telling you that.

      Here's a diet plan and workout routine that works for me.
      - 60 minutes of cardio ( walking, running, stridding, swimming, dancing etc..)
      - 5-10lbs of weights ( light weight lifting you're trying to be trim not gain muscle)
      - abdominal workouts ( crunches, sit-ups, etc..)
      - 10-20 minutes on the tredmile.

      Meal Plan-
      ( 900- 1100 calarie intake for fast and safe- dieting)

      Breakfast- 3/4 of high fibre cearal ( mini wheats, cherrios, bran-flakes, special K, etc..) with skim milk, and fruits and nuts added with it.

      alternative- 1 slice of whole wheat bread, with 1-2 tbsp of peanut butter, or jam. with a peice of fruit, and fat-free activia yogurt.

      Snack- fruit,

      alternative- 100 calarie snack packs ( comes in cookies, chips, cheetos, bars etc..)

      Lunch- 2 slices of whole wheat bread, with 2 slices of lean turkey breast, lettuse, tomatoe, and frenches mustard ( 0 calaries) - No mayo!
      And also have a sugar-free jello which is only 5 calaries, and some berries.

      Snack- fruit

      Alternative- 100 calarie snack packs ( comes in chips, doritos, cheetos, cookies, bars, etc.. )

      Dinner- Grilled chicken/ salmon, with 1 1/2 cups of vegetables.

      Alternative- Lean cusine frozen entree , or wholesome advantage frozen entree ( under 270 calaries )

Based on my 13 years of bicycle racing experience, I would encourage you to eat a well balanced diet based on the 5 basic food groups. Also eat a lot of fruit, and raw veggies and salads for snacks,and stay away from the junk and fast food. When you do eat your meals it's very important to eat just one serving and don't heap up your plate.Most servings are between a 1/2 and 1/3 cup. If you choose to eat red meat only have a piece the size of a deck of playing cards.That's all one really needs. You also might want to check with your county extention office they will have a lot of helpfull literature for you and most of the time it's free. And don't forget to exercise.       Basic Diet Consists of 3-4 days of eating the following foods at each meal (4-5 meals/day):
      4-5 oz of fish, chicken, lean beef, turkey
      4 cups of veggies of these types (broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, brussell’s sprouts, collard greens, spinach) - these are usually frozen and I measure out 4 cups total of any combination of them
      1 tablespoon olive oil
      seasonings to taste (salt, pepper, hot sauce, soy sauce - anything without calories). No need to limit salt intake here if you like to salt your foods.

      Supplements consist primarily of:
      Specially formulated blend of Antioxidants
      Specially formulated blend of High-Potency B-Vitamins
      Ripwire

      This is the fastest (healthiest) but not the easiest.
      First off, DO NOT take diet pills. They can do some serious harm to your heart. Plus they don't work & they're a waste of money.
      Here's what you do for quick weight loss plus you will feel better:

      Cut out all breads, pasta, cookies, cereals, crackers, chocolate, sweets, icecream, cakes, pizza, all fast food etc...basically anything made from flour & away from sugar. They are all called simple carbs. They are carbs which leave us hungry for more & that's what makes us fat. Go on a "gluten free" diet...You will lose weight & not gain if you're careful to eat correctly.
      We need to have complex carbs. (fruits, veggies, salads, protein.) Have lots of fruits & veggies.
      If you want a snack like crackers or something...go buy gluten free rice cakes from health food store. Snack on 1 or 2 a day. The only sweet you can have is maybe a tbsp of honey on a rice cracker. Just don't have more than one.
      Also you can buy gluten free flour from the health food store & make your own bread.
      Make sure you have ahead of time (like night before) cut up carrot sticks to munch on the following day. You can put lemon on them for more taste.
      Avoid cold cut meats. No ham, sausages, mortadella, salami, pepperoni, etc...If you can, stay away from dairy products...believe it or not:dairy makes us fat too...like a cow.
      By doing this...you will lose lots of weight.
      I'll give you an example of what to eat okay.?

      breakfast: 1 banana & 1 kiwi or orange
      cup of coffee or tea (no milk or sugar)
      drink 2-3 glasses of water

      lunch: grilled chicken or turkey breast(portion should be the size of your palm) w/ some lemon squeezed on it...mmm I like lemon
      romaine lettuce salad, tomato, grn onions, grated carrot, radish & whatever other green you like in there. Dressing should be balsamic vinegar or wine vinegar w/ olive oil.
      stay away from ketchup, mayo & bbq. sauce

      or you can have stir fried veggies w/ rice...also very good. You can eat rice but not pasta.

      snack:14 walnut halves or 20 almonds
      a fruit
      lots of water
      some tea

      dinner: hamburger or fish w/ brocolli or spinach
      you can have 1 or 2 rice crackers (or save them before bedtime)
      lots of water
      cup of chamomile

      before bed: pray to the Lord to help you lose weight. To give you self control. Keep asking until you receive. The Lord hears you & loves you.

      The secret to success is to be "organized & committed".
      You should have your salad, greens & veggies washed & cut up the night before so it's ready to eat for lunch the next day.
      Make sure you have bought all your ingredients/food the day before.

      Take a multi-vitamin & calcium every day.

      It's not impossible to do...just believe you can do it.

You should never skip meals that'll just slow your metabolism so that when you do eat you won't burn what you eat as quickly. There's no such thing as a "fast" way to weight loss. But if you eat lightly (fruits, veggies, nuts, healthy meals, and drink a lot of water) every few hours and exercise DAILY your metabolism should be nice and high and that will help keep the pounds away!

      Nope, absolutely not. Raw food contains more a higher probability of contaminants. A diet only works if the foods you are eating are good for you and you can get energy off of it. Just stick to the normal foods you know you should be eating. Make sure you subtract 500 calories if you are not exercising and don't subtract if you are. If you cut too many calories your body will think it is starving and it will hold on to everything it can. That's why people who go on these outrageous 1000 calorie starvation diets fail.

      There's only ONE WAY to lose fat - and that is to create a calorie deficit. However, there are two ways to create a calorie deficit - one is to decrease your food intake so you are eating less than you burn, the other is to increase your exercise and activity so you are burning more than you eat.

      Of the two ways to create a calorie deficit, burning the fat is far superior to starving it. You see, cutting calories too much causes weight loss at first, but it also causes muscle loss and it eventually leads to a decrease in metabolism, so the weight loss stops. This is very common on conventional diets, right? You lose weight in the beginning, but then you hit a plateau that you just can't break through. Cutting calories even more at this point only digs you even into a deeper "metabolic hole."

      Eating more of the right foods (up to a certain point) actually increases your metabolic "heat" like putting wood on a fire. Food is energy; food is fuel, and it produces (metabolic) heat.

It's better to do something than nothing, and all exercise counts.

      Some people may have orthopedic problems which limit the type of exercise they can do. But nearly everyone can walk. So if you can walk, then walk. And almost everyone can do some type of strength training. Instead of focusing on what you can't do or what you don't like to do, direct your attention to what you CAN do and what you would like to do.

      Maybe you don't like being couped up inside all the time. Maybe you'd prefer hiking or jogging outside. Or maybe boxing or martial arts sounds cool to you. Maybe you like basketball or tennis. Maybe you'd enjoy classes, or yoga or pilates. Your options are nearly unlimited, but you have to do something or your body will begin to deteriorate.

      As you increase your lean muscle mass, you'll also get a permanent increase in your resting metabolic rate. Muscle is what drives your metabolism, keeps you young and makes you look more physically attractive. Others will notice how good you look, and you'll feel better about yourself too. Yes, you may lose weight from diet alone, but you're likely to end up a "skinny fat person" with a slow metabolism and very little lean body mass (not to mention, you'll probably gain back all the fat)

      Last, but not least, be careful what you say to yourself over and over because that tends to program your subconscious mind and create your self image. If you've been repeating to yourself for years, "I'm not big on exercise" or "I'm not an exercise person", that eventually becomes a part of your identity. You always tend to behave in alignment with your identity in order to stay "true to yourself."

      Maybe when you look in the mirror after just a few weeks and see your body start to change you'll begin to like enjoy exercise a LOT. It can get addictive, you know. The endorphins that are released when you exercise are like opiates. Ever hear of "runners HIGH?" Ever hear of an "exercise addict?" What would YOU rather be hooked on? Forget about popping pills, Your body is the most exquisite pharmacy on the planet. Exercise is a better fat burner, health creator, energy producer and anti-depressant than any man-made drug will EVER be. Exercise can be fun and FEEL GOOD too.

      Human beings were meant to move. Bodies don't lose their function by being used too much and "wearing out", they lose their function by not being used enough and "rusting out."       By cutting off all refined carbs (sugars and flours) you will lose, fast. Thing is, most of the weight lost is going to come from liquids, and those will come back sooner or later.

      Going under the 1400 calorie a day threshold can also be risky, it can work for some time and then you will hit a plateau and not lose more.

      Do this modified diet that was defined to lose fast and not make you starve, but beware of the rebound.

      Breakfast 2 egg whites and 1/2 cup old style oats (measured dry) with water - no sugar. Coffee or green tea.
      Midmorning a handful of nuts. Handful as in what fits in the center of your hand (palm), nor a "claw-ful".
      Lunch large lettuce salad with one can tuna (in water). Add any vegetables you want to it. Glass of fat free milk.
      Mid afternoon 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 6 light soda crackers.
      Dinner Vegetable soup. Any size, any vegetables. 1 glass fat free milk

      Aim for at least 3-4 liters of pure water every day. Do not modify or add anything.

      The only reason I say this is because it sounds like your doing this for an occasion and the master cleanse gets the pounds off quick but once you start eating regular again it will all come back ..

      4+ 16 oz bottles of water (at least) -- drinking lots of water is very important to weight loss

      calcium, vitamin C B12 E, multi-vitamin, fiber -------- these supplements are very important as you are cutting back your normal food intake, they will help you keep your energy level up

      exercise 45 - 60 minutes a day, or at least 3 times a week

    so i want to lose. i tried going "sugar free" yesterday but i binged on 1000 calories worth of chcocolate. i did theis everyday since friday. i have to stop because no only did i gain 2 pounds EXTRA, but i need to lose in the first place.

    this is my "plan" so far

    breakfast:
    2 slices of bread
    small bit of low fat margarine
    1 1/3 cups 2% milk

    total: 350 cals

    snack:

    either a LOT of soup (packaged or homemade, either one)
    or
    some bread and a small head of lettuce-
    total: 200

    dinner:
    LEAN chicken, or ground turkey burgers with lots and lots of chicken-500 cals

    snacks:
    egg whites, yogurt (plain or that yoplait source that taste ammmazing!!) oranges, strawberries, peaches, apples, any veggie i could find (other than potatoes beans, corn, ETC), soup, or some more
    chicken-- ax 200-300 worth

    im also burning as MANY calories as i can, meaning 300. i know its not much, not much at all, but i really am trying.
    i think thats a relatively good diet for weightloss, and QUICK!!

    will i be able to lose weight? if so how much in a month? my goal is 2 pounds per week! can i do it :) ?
    i binged cause i CRAVED sugar. but the good news is that i ate it all, and theres nothing left to binge on. if its not there i cant eat it.

      Sure. Just know that fast weight loss leads to fast weight gain as soon as you start eating normally again.

    does anyone know a quick weight loss diet to lose weight fast so i can be skinny for my wedding! =]?
    i dont need to lose a TON i just need to lose enough
    i want to lose about 15-20 pounds and tone i have time for 8 minute abs but thats about it! i work two jobs and my mother has cancer so i take care of her as well im always on my feet, also, the wedding is in november so i have about 10 months!

      well you didn't say how mush time you had. But i can tell you the diets like atkins and other diets leaving out important food groups are bad for you and do make you lose weight but that called water weight when you lose it like that then when you stop the diet it comes right off. the eat clean diet helped me so much lose that extra weight trust me ive tried Alot of diets and the eat clean diet worked the best i lost 45 pound in one year and it stayed off the link is http://eatcleandiet.com/ but if you are not faithfull by going to the gym at least 3 times a week you wont lose the weight. Its not easy but you will look great and stay great. Another great diet is south beach diet. it can be quite expensive though. but 80 percent of looking great is nutrition you cant have any sugar if you want to have great abs. And again i the eat clean diet helped me out so much if you lose 2+ pounds a week for a year or even a month using the eat clean diet like i did you will look amazing but your diet will have to be very strict. ill write out a dailt and cardio activity for you to help. Once a week you can have a cheat meal glass of wine burger king ect BUT ONLY ONCE A WEEK it would be bettter if you didnt have one but after eating chicken and sweet potatoes everyday its nice to eat something different. Also always make sure you eat 6 times a day because if you dont you will lose all your hard earned muscle beacause your body will eat your muscle if you are not having enough protein. never forget to have a protein shake after your workout either its essential to give yourself essential protein to your body when needed most after a workout. Now remember it may sound like a lot but its the best way to lose weight and have great stomach.Hope you have a great marriage!

      You don't need to go on any strict diet to burn fat, just alter your food, eat complex carbs instead of simple carbs, eat fruit in moderation, eat as much vegetables as possible, eat a good amount of protein from LEAN MEAT, make sure you consume good fats like mono and poly unsaturates.

    Is the all water diet effective? Would anyone recommend something for easy, fast weight loss?
    I really want to loose weight, and I'm trying to find the most effective, fastest diet along with exercise to do so. I've been looking at the all water diet, which consist of drinking only water for 2/3 days, and eating one day after only drinking water those 2/3 days. Has anyone tried this and/or recommend this diet? Like is it fast and are/were there good results? If not, any other suggestions? No pills or anything like that. I'm only 13 and I don't want my mom worrying about me and asking questions as to why I want to buy pills for that. I just need to start loosing weight.

      You will lose weight for awhile...but in the process you are going to destroy your metabolism, make you lose muscle and lean mass, and feel really sleepy all day. Not worth it. Get yourself on a real diet and exercise program for the best results.

    8:00 - Glass of semi-skimmed milk, one whole meal toast with nothing and an orange.

    Lunch.
    1:15 - Skinless boiled chicken breast with veg & a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice.

    Snack. (The apple if hungry, the milk is not optional)
    4:00 - Apple with a cup of milk.

    Dinner.
    7:00 - Boiled Salad with tuna :)
    Then Laxatives.

    2-3 liters of water a day.

    I will be walking/jogging every morning before school for 1 mile or 2.
    the 1 week spark teen "boot camp"
    an hour of dancing every day.
    i walk around 4 miles a day not including in the morning. so in total about 6 miles roughly.
    im going kickboxing for one hour, twice a week.
    and cycling for half an hour once a week in the mornings.

    how much will i lose each week?
